There were some dishes and basic cutlery in the room, but nothing to clean these with so we couldn't really re-use anything. However, this wasn't a big deal just an observation!

We had a great stay for two nights. The room is a great size, and is walking distance to a 7/11 which is helpful. There are laundry facilities which is useful, and also some tea/coffee and biscuits available for guests in the lobby.

Sunset is a great place, very clean, well-equipped room with everything you need. PJ is super friendly and helpful. There were no tourists in the area which was actually nice, authentic, and the hotel is on a quiet road which was perfect! It is easy and cheap to get across the river to where the sites are, so this was a good choice if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle tourist areas.

Really glad that I found Sunset Residence... it was ideal for my few days in Bangkok. I even extended a day with zero fuss. Very, very good rooms with an excellent shower, comfy double bed and fridge/kettle/sink. Aircon is magic... nothing like coming back in dripping from the outside heat into a blast of cool air. All staff were brilliant and very helpful.

Very comfy quiet very clean and new , near a great night market lovely friendly helpful owners . Nice to have a fridge kettle didn’t use the kitchen but looked good for making a meal . Very easy to get in to the old part .

We liked everything!

Everything. The staff were absolutely amazing, the owner went above and beyond to help us daily. Always there to give good recommendations for food, good places to go etc. He even arranged taxis for us daily and got us discounts. It was a pleasure to stay here and we will definitely be back. I'd recommend this place to anyone as it is spotlessly clean, modern, good location, safe and great staff!

Lovely room which exceeded our expectations. Comfortable bed, kitchen facilities included, clean bathroom, and very quiet. Staff were extremely nice and facilitated a late check in which was greatly appreciated. They also gave us some traditional Chinese New Year snacks which was very thoughtful.

It was quite a long walk from the city center or tourist attractions, it was sometimes hard to catch a taxi/bolt/grab.

There is a lot of noise very early in the morning, we were woken up each morning to various sounds whether birds, dogs or street vendors honking horns, shouting and ringing bells to gain attention. The kitchen has very limited amenities. There are a couple of plates, knives and forks with a sponge to wash up but you certainly couldn't cook or do much more than heat up food.

PJ the host is wonderful, very informative and helpful. This Hotel is easy to find and just around the corner from a 7Eleven, little Temple night market, some local street food vendors and a short walk from Indy Market (don't miss it!!) The bedroom was relatively dark and the bed was comfortable. The rooftop was a delightful and understated surprise.
