The giant cockroach in the bathroom. The neighbourhood. We took a bus from the airport that would have had to drop us near the hotel, but the driver droped us a few streets away (at 10PM) and we had to take a taxi that asked for 5 times more money. Asian Breakfast, not for europeans, without cold meats and cheese.

We could get to the temples by foot. Very Nice and helpful front office staff.

At check in, no one told us that the breakfast buffet would be limited. The hot breakfast buffet was not up for the 2 mornings we used it and the gentleman trying to cook eggs the one morning was a nighmare to watch. We were told on the second morning they were hoping to have the buffet up and running the next day. We had a flood in our room based on a two hour torrential down pour and staff were extremely quick to rectify. The bathroom is just run down, but the bed was excellent. We were only in our room to freshen up and recharge our batteries so we could get out to see more things. We never ever saw anyone else on the roof deck and the view is nothing to see except old run down buildings.

This hotel is in old town and the area shows it, from poor folks hanging out on the streets mixed in with the occasional prostitute doing what they do best. Those sights may scare some but if you are use to that from living in bigger cities, then you will be fine here. The hotel is located in an excellent location for getting to the grand palace or Khaosan market. There is always a tuk tuk outside the hotel that for basically under 100 Bhat will take you anywhere. Cheap! We used Grab as our taxi a lot as well and it was very cheap. Use their driver to get you to the airport. The staff (some Philipino) at this hotel were great, Working so hard. And trying to accomodate guest's needs. Not certain we would stay here again.

Our room window was at street corner, it's single glass pane so it's loud all night, when scooters are honking or speeding.

Location is perfect. Staff helpful. Breakfast OK. Roof terrace nic but missing some day shade.

The hotel is in a great location, within a 20 minute walk or a quick tuk tuk ride of the Grand Palace and other main sights. Comfortable room, and excellent, varied and plentiful breakfast. The hotel pick up from the airport and subsequent drop off both went very smoothly.

Booked a room with a balcony, but the balcony could barely fit me and the AC fan. Shouldnt be really advertised as room with balcony in my opinion.

Clean and nice hotel in old town, 10min walk to khaonsan road and the palace. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was decent. Also they have a lovely rooftop terrace were you can chill at night and see some pretty cool views of bangkoks skyline

Location was great, walking distance to all major sites of interest, breakfast was varied and plentiful, Thai and western style food on offer. The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable! Refrigerator and safe deposit in room. Free tea coffee biscuits and drinking water available and the staff were friendly and helpful

The only thing I can mention is that the AC was quite loud, so we turned it off at night, but then the room was a bit too hot, as we stayed on a higher floor. The hotel rooms are a bit smaller than regular rooms, but totally fine.

The hotel staff was super friendly and very helpful! The location is great, you can walk to Khaosan Road, but the hotel itself is in a rather quiet area, so you don't have any noise at night. Room was clean and had everything you need. There is also a nice rooftop terrace, but we missed the chance to use it!

There was quite a bad smell in the room and the old town didn't really create a nostalgic or safe feeling.

Our balcony was very poor, it was basically full with the AC unit and there was almost no space for one person to be in.

Breakfast was amazing. The hotel has a nice rooftop and a small gym that you can use for free. Location was very good to visit all the main attractions.

Excellent location between the palace area and khaosan road, close to good restaurants also. The hotel is old and is not luxurious but it is clean and comfortable and has a good shower, very good value. Staff helped to book tours.

Could have been cleaner, especially the shower area, and I don't think anyone had done under the beds in a very long time. The immediate area is "interesting" but never felt unsafe - may not appeal to some.

Comfortable room, although quite compact for 3 of us. Very good breakfast with lots of choice, both thai and western, which changed on a daily basis. Nice rooftop area to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks. Short walk to Khao San Road area for bars, restaurants etc. Staff were smiley.

There is no outlet in the bathroom for hair dryer. The shower is open half way so water spills out on the floor.

The staff was wonderful. The bed was comfortable.
