I prefer that if they send the door code when i confirm my booking with the welcoming email, i wasn't have access to the internet when i arrived to call them and no one opened the door for more than 10 minutes, but they kindness more than enough to forget this experience

The atmosphere is amazing, decoration, staff and the owner are very kind, you will have amazing experience, and their pets are wonderful

Very small room. Bed, which appeared to be king size was enclosed on 3 sides by walls. If more than one person in the bed you literally had to climb over the other person to access the other side of the bed. The bathroom, however was a decent size.

Family run, very pleasant and helpful owners, beautiful common areas, authentic Tunisian breakfast.

Everything was great, place, breakfast/dinners, atmosphere, hosts. Thanks to Dar Douads recommendation we used BOLT app to have fast, traceable and cheap taxi rides all over the city. Strongly recommend to use it’s service from airport which will cost around 20 dinars, not more. There is a great shop nearby to buy really nice honey, nuts, olive oil, etc… check the name of the shop with hosts

This place is a piece of heaven in the middle of La Marsa, beautiful, comfortable and tranquil. The patio is an amazing place to spend some time and rest, and the rooms are very nice with private bathrooms. The best part of Dar Souad is the staff, the two sisters in charge of it are very helpful and have good advises to move around the area. The rest of the staff is also fantastic, very good cookers also! I would come back for sure!

Luxury stay in a very cool dar in La Marsa

I think I was woken up by the prayer call very early in the morning, but I guess this is not necessarily avoidable in Tunis.

This was my last stay in Tunisia, and I was glad because it was the best of the 3 places I stayed. I got a discount as well, so it was a good price for what felt like luxury. Breakfast was amazing. The grounds were also very nice. Layout was also very good and comfortable. Wish I could have stayed another night. Tip: I think I got a fairly good discount, but if you are thinking of staying in Sid Bou Said or La Marsa, this place offers much higher quality than some of the other places I looked at in SBS, but for much less--so you could indulge yourself and then just take a bolt to and from Sidi.

    No complaints. 100% perfect.

Look no further for your hotel in Tunis. Dar Souad is owned and ran by a mother and her two daughters, and they absolutely built the most beautiful boutique hotel we have ever stayed at. The beds were comfy, the bathroom came with a towel heater, and the breakfast each morning was specially crafted. The location is a short walk from La Marsa and short tram from Carthage, and we loved sitting by the pool playing cards. Absolutely 11/10 experience and wouldn’t change a thing

There wasn't a single thing I didn't like. Everything was perfect. Location was a bit far from the bustle of Tunis, but that's exactly what I wanted. Staff was incredible. The interior and central garden/seating area were incredible.

Dar Souad is a magical place. Exceeded all expectations. I couldn't wait to wake up every morning and get coffee downstairs in the magical garden. Location was incredible, as was the staff. I can't wait to go back.

    I didn’t want to leave :(

Stunning place, both interior and exterior. When you walk through the port you enter a different world. Your eyes, your nose and all your senses will be forever grateful you chose this place. A true oasis. Also make sure to have dinner in one night. It’s a lot but I guarantee you will try to finish everything. The owner and the staff are all super sweet and will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I’m so glad I found this gem and I will be back for sure.

You can pay with card only for sum over 1000 dinar, otherwise you need to get cash from an ATM, or pay in euros. This is not an issue, just good to know. Really can't complain about anything else.

Inner courtyard was a very oasis, we loved having breakfast there. It is also pretty cool even during the hottest time. The room was nice, with a bid bed and a well-placed aircon. Really beautiful too! We had to ask for a late check in (10 euro fee) since our flight was arriving late. An employee was waiting for us and helped to settle in. The hotel also recommended a taxi driver (airport to hotel was 30 euro), who met us at the airport and helped to get into the hotel -- it would have been a bit difficult to find the entrance in the middle of the night. Overall, we were happy and loved the hotel!

I loved it so so so so much! The Dar is so beautiful! The room was so cool. Nice balcony, comfy bed. Feriel is super sweet. Best stay in Tunis. Sadly I only got to stay there for one night on my last night. I will 100% most def be back whenever I’m back in Tunis. If you’re looking a recommendation on where to stay, look no further. Thank you an amazing experience.

The only thing was the problem with a clogged sink other than that, everything was lovely

Beautiful atmosphere, the little garden inside was particularly nice. The whole property had a very authentic character so it felt like I was staying in a true Tunisian household. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful even if we had a language barrier with some.
