Great budget accommodation right in the medina! It felt very safe, and seemed to be the unofficial backpacker place in Sousse (where many other options are fancy/pricey). Clean, comfortable, surprisingly quiet with friendly staff.

Just need better crockery and mugs. Would be great if sugar and milk sachets were available too. Also needs some hooks inside the room (there were none!) And some shelves in the cupboard (there were none!).

It would have been nice to have breakfast included. I'd be willing to pay more for the convenience of breakfast on-site. Also a list of recommended restaurants in the area at the front desk would be helpful

The rooms are a little bit on the small side. We did upgrade from a double to a triple in order to gain a little bit more space otherwise all is good

Everything was basically good location is excellent. Staff was more than willing to help out with anything. Very nice rooftop to hang out on and pretty much do anything to want.

Fantastic location and great value. A few minutes walk from the main train station, also very near the Bab Jdid station where you can take the metro line to Monastir and Mahdia. Staff were nice too, and room was clean.

Communication was a bit confusing and contradictory at times. Exchange rate at payment was rounded up in the hotel's favour. Bathroom was extremely humid, water came out either boiling hot or cold. Wifi was off one evening and one morning.

Great location at the entrance of the medina. Friendly staff recommended excellent local restaurant next to the theatre - thank you! Roof top terrace.

I'll be honest, the hotel is a bit dated and gives a bit of a 70s motel vibe. Our toilet leaked a bit, no hot water one night and no water for a bit (not sure if this was government controlled because we experienced this in a restaurant too.). The shower is a bit awkward as it is hard to stand in the small tub and shower is hand held but a minor inconvenience.

Location is excellent, just inside the medina wall. Close to train station and restaurants. Staff is very helpful, always smiling and a warm greeting. They upgraded us to a triple room No extra charge which was a blessing with all our luggage. There is a fridge you can store some food or drinks in. A heater was provided upon request which was greatly appreciated because I get cold easily. A short walk to the main square, ribat and main mosque. The value for price is very good, therefore I recommend staying here. Don't miss doing a day trip to El Jem, it is fabulous! The train system Tunis to Sousse is horrible, always late, overcrowded, although we bought 1st class tickets we never even got a seat.

Unfortunately I think some people in the property learned to speak in a helicopter. A common area for phone calls or the occasional suggestion to loud people to quieten down would complete this hotel- although I’m aware this is a difficult task to perform.

The location was perfect and the staff a genuine delight- a tremendous mixture of happiness but without infringing on your personal space. It was clean, always open and there’s a lot open space. Pound for pound the best place I’ve visited in Tunisia so far, a lot of other places could learn from this very professional and organised business.

The bathroom had some sort of leakage problems. It was always very wet. The walls were super thin, we could hear our neighbours talking and even snoring.

The staff working there were very helpful and friendly. The location is superb, basically at the entrance to the Medina. A very nice restaurant just downstairs.
