Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Location was perfect. 2 minute walk from Gulhane Tram Station, 10 minute walk from Eminonu/Spice bazaar. Stores and shops just outside the hotel. Room and facilities were very clean And staff were very helpfull.

MaldivesEverything was very nice. The rooms are spacious and clean, our room was maintained every day. The hotel location was within walking distance to the entire centre of the city. The breakfast was open buffet and it was very delicious. It is also a great advantage that there is an elevator inside the hotel. As a woman who came on vacation alone, I felt very safe and comfortable because this is a very safe hotel for families and women who come on vacation alone. You can also eat delicious Turkish food in the restaurant located under the hotel.

South AfricaThere were some water issue which may not have been related to the hotel. The breakfasts didn’t have much variety or choice for healthier options. They were designed for convenience. There was adequate quantity however. We removed the air freshener “block” from the room as it was overpowering and unpleasant - the smell dissipated quickly. Storage and cupboards were a bit small for a 5 day stay.
Location was excellent with public transport was around the corner. We were very close to most food establishments as well as many attractions including Gulhane Park which was great for running and exercise. The staff were pleasant if not all able to be able to speak fluent English. Access, convenience, safe, welcoming

NetherlandsThe room was very small, you can't walk around the bed to reach the other side cause it is too close to the wall, and there is no space to open the luggage. The room is quite dark. There is a bit of noise from the street during the night because it is in a very central street. The breakfast was mostly savory which I don't like. Part of the staff don't speak English, but they try their best to help you. Moreover I asked them to book a taxi for me from the airport to the hotel and it didn't arrive. I contacted them and they told me to wait there. I waited for a long time and the taxi never arrived, in the end I had to arrange it myself. When I got there the person at the reception only said "what a pity". That was very bad way to start my holiday. They managed to book it for me on my way back though.
The position of the hotel is excellent, the main attractions are at waling distance. The bed is confortable and the staff is kind

RomaniaThe breakfast was located at another hotel (nearby) but we didn’t have a lot of options, it was a temporary situations because of some renovations.
The room was great and had all we needed. It was a bit small but ideal for a short stay and we had any supply we needed. There’s AC and heating too. The cleaning service was impecable! The staff was great and helped us with everything, especially Apo. Overall it was a nice experience and we will stay at Adora Hotel when we are in Istanbul again.
