We went in April and in the night it was a bit cold. Maybe a thicker quilt would be necessary.

Special mention for the staff who was the best of our Turkey trip ! Location is very good, breakfast is nice, room and facilities are very good. The host gave us some advices on what to do, what to avoid, suggestions of good restaurants, very good !

Nothing, highly recommend

Akkan hotel is in a great location, within walking distance from the bus station, within easy reach by foot. We booked the exec Suite, fabulous views and super clean. A lovely cold buffet breakfast was available each morning. The hotel is in a very lively busy neighborhood, lots of restaurants, people, music. Thanks Can & team for making our stay so special.

Be aware there are 3 Akkan hotels in Bodrum, and people will invariably send you too the wrong one if asked. Wifi was a little stretched in our room and would occasionally drop out.

The customer care was top notch, with a special mention to the most helpful Can, not only did he reach out over Whatsapp prior to our stay, but he did everything he could to help arrange our onward travel, and offer assistance, with superb english which is far from the norm in Turkey. The location of the Akkan is excellent being right on the seafront and in the pedestrian area, one of the best areas of beach is right in front of the hotel. The best seafront restaurants are just to the left of the hotel. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety, and the seating area is very pleasant with indoor and outdoor choices. The room was modern and clean and the hotel is kept very clean and comfortable with helpful and friendly staff.

Are only down side was that the wifi had an issue which kept dropping out from where our room was, however we could obtain wifi in the reception area and sitting outside the hotel with a coffee and sunshine more than made up for this.

Fantastic location, right by the beach. Member of staff Can was extremely attentive and helpful to us. Breakfast was lovely, coffee good and lovely sized ground floor room which was very clean. Can kept in contact with us the morning of our stay and offered above and beyond assistance to us.

There is nothing that we didn’t like there. The only thing that we missed it was a hot options or buffet for the breakfast. Other than that all was amazing.

We came back to the same place as really loved our last stay. Amazing customer service from Can who looked after us on both occasions. He was really professional and nothing was a problem. Nice and clean room with beautiful view in middle of everything. Will definitely come back there again.

Small hotel I prefer a bit of space but overall good hotel

A great location in the centre of old Bodrum breakfast and bedroon are good value. Ideal for two nights stay to get your bearings in Bodrum a short taxi ride to central bus station. Taxi rank outside hotel, We got the bus from the domestic terminal at Milas cost about 3 Euro each from Milas apt to Bodrum.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, espically Can. He went out of his way to find us some vegetarian resaurants in the area as well as updgraded our room to large suite with a view. The location is really nice, right on the waterfront and an easy walk to all the sites.

The staff is really helpful! They help with everything. Even with printing some documents. And I've arrived early in the morning and was offered by a free breakfast. The luggage storage is also there.

Choice for breakfast is limited with no water or juice available. We reported a broken light and plug on our first day to two members of staff but they were not fixed during our entire stay. The large shower head also did not work but we survived with smaller showerhead! To be more environmentally friendly, changing towels daily is probably not required and would reduce costs for the hotel also!

Nothing it is a great hotel for single travellers and couples. Affordable prices as well.

The hotel is situated in an excellent position. Walking distance to great restaurants and the Grand Bazaar. Breakfast was good and there is a sufficient supply of various Turkish breakfast items. I was upgraded to a lovely room with a balcony.

The location of the hotel next to the school playground presents some difficulty for those for whom noise is a hardship (like us).

We generally enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Calm and polite staff. Unobtrusive music in the morning. Cleaned the rooms every day. Upgrade room and spacious balcony was a wonderful addition.

Since hotel is a bit old, a few things should be repaired like the door of the bathroom but no major issues.

We had a really good stay at Akkan Hotel and particularly appreciated the great location (near beach and city center) and the really good breakfast. Also we were allowed to use the pool and private beach of the Akkan Beach Hotel (5min walking distance) with no additional cost. All in all great value for money
