How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The ceiling in my bathroom was cracked from the water i guess. Cleaning wasn’t that good. Also, there were some renovations going on. We weren’t informed, we had to find out through the noise in the morning. Cleaning staff are very loud and noisy. They kept shouting at each other in hallways every morning.
The front deck was exceptional really. The location is great. But the noise at night was terrible I couldn’t sleep some times. I wouldn’t say it was the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in but it was ok. The food was delicious. I can’t remember the name of the gentleman at the front desk but really everyone was great.

The TV should be in front The bed, safety box not installed properly, the outside lamp are not working, the bed was not big size and the below are not comfortable.

Air conditioner in my room wasn't good. They didn't fix it. The refrigerator in the other room wasn't working, they didn't do any thing about it. The shower and the bathtub are old and should be replace.

The only thing I didn't like about my stay was the cleaning service. It was not as thorough as I expected, and sometimes they forgot to replace the slippers or put new shower gel. I think the hotel should improve this aspect of their service.
I liked the hotel very much. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable. The hotel also had a great location, close to many attractions and restaurant.👍

Water cattle wasn't clean. Thats why we couldn't have coffee. I would appreciate seeing more effort by the housekeepers in setting the beds. It's a good hotel, but it had a 3 star look & feel despite the high rate per night. It's slightly noisy if you are a light sleeper.
Very safe for family. Decent staff. Very comfortable bed. Clean. Spacious room & toilet. 5 minutes walk to Cevahir Shopping Centre & metro & subway. Next to two local small restaurants with good breakfast & other meals. MC Donald's is just around the corner.

hotel don't have trolley to move the bags, it's not clean, only 2 elevators not enough as it's a big hotel, i booked the room for 4 persons but in the booking it confirmed for only 2 persons which hotel request extra fees per person

The room light is dim and needs soundproofing the room
Location, friendly staff, near metro station and bus station, a few minutes walking to Cevahir mall, nice room size, and furniture. I will repeat my stay there in the future.

The property is excellent and convenient with very central location as well as very close with short walking distance to Javaher Mall with many restaurants/coffee shops and shops around the property. I highly recommend this property to tourist including families who visit for shopping purpose as you can do all your shopping from one stop in Javaher Mall as well as with many restaurants options for eating. I would like to thanks all staff team for their support especially Mr. Hassan front Office Manager who offered us staying after check out time and also the trolley boy for his excellent support throughout as I do not remember his name and also the room service team for their excellent cleaning and support. The property is worth value for money as well as very clean and comfortable.
