Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SerbiaFirst thing is the internet. Free wifi is only at the loby of hotel, near reception. If you want internet in the room, must pay 3e/day. In my case, i payed internet in the room but didnt have, becouse some router was missing.I sugest to buy turkey sim card for 30e and you will have internet like at home. The Hotel are old, the cleanles is not on the highest level.

The vuiew from the balkony are perfect, we were in room 409, if you can, pick that room. When i visit Alanya next time, i will book this hotel again!

United KingdomFor price it was outstanding. Food could have been a little more varied, and a better choice of beer's. Hard to criticise really.
Price, location, pool, food plentiful. There's a tunnel direct to the beach.

Georgiaif you think you have found a cheap 4* with all inclusive don't flatter yourself you will not get anything more than you paid for: - it's not 4 stars. It is 2/3 - rooms are old and half of the things are broken (lamps, door lockers, etc) - animation is terrible (singers especially). Loud music could finish very late ~23:00 when most of the visitors are already trying to get sleep - lobby is small and half of the square is occupied by unneeded shops, for example "coats and jackets market" looks like you are on the Turkish bazar - breakfast and "snack bar" is poor (dinner and lunch is normal) - water pool is smaller than it looks on the photo - only one elevator which is 100% busy during food time - extra pay wifi and room safe in 2023
+ Room and restaurant staff are pleasent and kind + Not so far from the sea

PortugalThey are too greedy about money. Trying to charge about everything (internet in the rooms, locker). But I was shocked that after staying there for several nights, they charged me a lot for just one hour extra during the check-out. Even during that hour (on which I was working), I had the cleaning ladies disturbing me all the time. You can get a very short profit for the receptionist but you lost one guest forever.
Some staff were friendly. Price was good. In front of the beach. Good food and wide selection of deserts.

MoldovaThis is not a 3-star all-inclusive hotel. It should have 1 or 2 stars at best and "all-inclusive" in their terms means three meals per day (if you can eat them) and tea + coffee (not natural, of course) + beer and vodka. But even these drinks, won't be available 24/24 and not even 12/24. They seemingly have some "cocktails" but you'll have to pay if you want them (photo attached) - we were not brave enough to try them. The food is horrible. Lowest possible quality, especially at breakfast - we mainly ate boiled eggs - not much else to choose otherwise (of decent/normal quality). The rooms are small but have balconies and that's fine. But the furniture is extremely old and gives the feeling of a dormitory room. The maid would come and clean daily but the dirt is still everywhere - starting from the lobby (which has no AC and smells very bad). Seeing a lot of ants right at the main entrance is normal in their terms. The territory itself is small and the evening "show" is a big joke (with all my respect to the people involved trying to get something out of nothing being paid very bad I assume). But the cherry on the cake is the personnel itself, especially the barmen - both very rude and never available when you need them. Attaching a photo with one of them - do notice what the bar looks like, a lot to "choose" from. In conclusion - I think this hotel is a scam because it sells itself as a 3-star all-inclusive but it's not and I think booking.com should take some measures. It's not an expensive hotel and someone may say "you get what you pay" and that is something I believe too. However, in this case - you don't get the equivalent service even for this cheap price. It's the worst hotel we have been to since travelling and we have visited many countries and cities in the world.
The only good thing about this hotel is that you learn to appreciate other hotels.

BulgariaThe wi-fi, even though was paid, it was so slow, that even sending an email with an attachment was impossible. 3 euros a day for dial-up speed internet is unacceptable. At the end of the day, I bought a Turkish sim card with internet and created a hotspot, otherwise, it is impossible. The night shows that occur every other night were very loud and till late in the evening, so if you want peace and quiet, that is not the best place, because it is under the balconies of each room.
The breakfast was okay, nothing special and the location was nice. Beach is across from the hotel.
