The studio is tiny. My fault for booking it but can't move if you have a suitcase. The second apartment was spacious but the shower was broken so it didn't work properly at all. Parking was very hard and risky in the narrow streets. Rental could have been hit or scratched.

The staff were very nice, friendly and easy to get on with. Helped every time I needed something. Water and heating worked. Walking distance from Taksim and public transport. Shops all around the area. The apartments were clean and good facilities all in all.

I booked an appartment with a terrace and was disappointed when we were settled into cellar rooms. No windows (!), a door to a small dirty spot outside overlooking the walls; broken washing machine, a bit dirty bathroom. I complained, and the staff members promised to find smth else. After 3 days they moved us to rooms on the top floor (at a small extra cost) with a nice balcony, windows, cosy bedroom, good kitchenette and nice bathroom. We spent the rest 5 days there and it was nice. So, the first impression not great, but ultimately it was fine.

Nice rooms, but only on top floors with balcony. Location is s bit shabby (some homeless and refugee beggars around); on the other hand it's the center, so most touristy places are located close-by. Good cleaning, very helpful staff, English speaking.

The only minor points are: The bed was slightly uncomfortable and there was tiny bit to less space to dry the towels.

The location was very nice, not to far away from the main spots, but still super quiet. Really helpful and always nice staff, they helped us to get around, plan our trip (even away from istanbul) and organized transport for a reasonable price (to the airport for example).

Big no go is making a mistake with them, they won't forgive you cuz money smells too good for the berry team. I accidentally booked my room one day before my arriving I tried instantly to cancel my booking but they didn't want to (for info I was out of season and the room wasn't booked anyways so I didn't mistakly took place of others it was empty and would stay empty) so I had to pay for a room I wasn't there. Second big negative thing is their washing machine, after spending 10min in Google translater to figure out how it's working I had to find a place to hang my washed clothes and the place is just not existing, no line, no air cuz underground, my clothes have been wet for around 48h. Third small thing I would like to change would be some automatically air refresh they cheap works with battery cuz everytime u enter the underground room it smells moldy and just bad, after some min u get used to it. Thanks anyways

Everything was there what u need for living, location is near a main street and bus stops so u can reach everything pretty fast with the istambul card. It was clean, my room was underground without windows at first it seems bad but I actually liked to sleep there, no sounds or lights disturbing my sleep.

As its on a busy street its quite noisy even past midnight, they may need to invest on good matresses its just my preference as I am used to soft.

Its a nice little apartment on a busy street , close to most local amenities & a walking distance to taksim square. Staff is excellent & does help out on any requests , they go out of there way.

Well, at first it was unusual for me to live on the -1 floor and there is a lively street nearby so it can a bit noisy. But I myself consider these facts only as pluses because I felt the local rhythm and atmosphere. It's like to stay in the very heart of Istanbul with all its narrow streets, old buildings and of course cats:) I was staying at Istanbery with my kids and after a long day of sightseeing - they always slept well and never complained of noise.

The apartment is very clean and comfortable and the rooms look just like on the photos. There is everything you need if you are staying with your family -a kitchen, a watching machine and even a dishwasher. The location is super convenient - you can either walk to the sights (Istiklal, Taxim, Galata) or use public transport - the bus stop and metro are very close. The guys on the reception were always friendly and helpful. The cleaning services were excellent. I also liked that there was a nice cafe Berry where you can have breakfast and dinner or just order food to your appartment. So when I had no time to cook for my kids - I was really happy to have this option. I must say that I was on a business trip to Istanbul and so I wasn't planning much of sightseeing but thanks to Istanberry tours that you can order on the reception I saw so much!

The property is high on demand and the room preparation is lagging even though the cleaning stuff is running breathless to catch up. We had wet towels for this reason. Additional stuff needs to be employed. The mattress in our first small room was not comfortable. It needs an upgrade. The second room, the larger one, had corroded bathroom door handles. Handheld shower heads were difficult to adjust because of either broken or loose shower holder/rail. These minor details needs to be addressed. The property is on a rather narrow street which has a day time moving traffic. So not so calm. But, after dark it is all silent and easy.

The staff was very warm and helpful. When the preparation of the room was lagging Mr. Tugay, the administrator, kept us pleased with drinks and even offered meal. The room was not the one we thought we booked (that convincingly seemed to be our error) and the owner of the property came up and went through all the booking system with us and upgraded us to a more expansive room in our second night without an extra charge. Few small problems with the humidity on paint was immediately addressed when we pointed it. Otherwise both of the rooms were finely decorated and clean. Wifi, air conditioners and hair dryers worked perfect. Both of the rooms we stayed had alarms for protection. Kitchen was clean and stuffed with enough cutlery, cups and pans. I cannot say enough to praise the stuff. We enjoyed the help and care of the stuff who helped us around the clock with our questions, transfer of our heavy bags and arranged our transfer to the airport. We liked to eat our breakfasts at the property's cafeteria and remained highly satisfied with the service and reasonable prices. Upon arrival we were given free of charge Turkish coffee at the café. We certainly will return if we ever need to stay around this old quarter of Istanbul.
