intimate authentic hotel with speech taking views. not big and made in absolute harmony with landscape and nature. hotel is run by one family and you feel personality and a soul of this place. hotel have the little restaurant with amazing panoramic view, that is awsome - first, you have not to look for a dinner after a long way and, secondly, just a dinner with such amazing view by itself could be a reason to visit this place. very romantic and calm place, seemed its created just for two and romantic getaways. I wish all the good to this hotel and its hosts and hope to come back.

The only thing we did not fancy was that they did not offer any facilities for swimming or sunbathing on the lovely beach down the hill, which is the highlight of Selimiye.

Located on the hill surrounded by beautiful view of the calm bay, Kansu's family-run place had nicely decorated and spotless clean rooms. Attention to detail was top level and solutions were suggested to a family with a young baby. A variety of local produce was offered in the breakfast and five o'clock tea by the infinity pool was very relaxing. A place well worth a visit.

Nothing although not really suitable if you have any mobility issues on a very steep hill

Everything was excellent very well organised . Owner provided transport to town centre organised boat trip which was brilliant and very good value . The breakfast and dinner were outstanding and the staff were very helpful. The pool area was lovely with fantastic views over Selemiye.

Can't fault this place.

Can't overstate how amazing this place is. The views by the pool/restaurant are incredibly beautiful, the staff are lovely, the food is great and everything is very fairly priced. Kansu runs the place and was very approachable and helped with suggesting nearby restaurants, beaches and routes for hikes. They also offer a great shuttle service to and from the town, which is useful as the hotel is about a 5-10 min walk uphill. The pool area also becomes a beautiful restaurant in the evening where we had the best meal of our trip. Can't recommend highly enough

Beautiful location, very quiet and just outside of Selimiye but still close enough to town (a leisurely walk of approx. 15 mins, and in addition the hotel provides a regular shuttle service). Very friendly and attentive owners and staff, great pool with excellent view and the adjacent restaurant is highly recommended for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hope to return to this lovely place one day!

This hotel was a little oasis of calm in the most beautiful setting. The rooms were small but perfectly formed and comfortable. The pool area was so lovely and the view was really special. The breakfasts each morning were fabulous with a range of delicious dishes and lovely strong coffee. The hotel serves tea at five at the pool with a tasty treat and the food in the evening was as good as we tasted in all our travels. The staff in this hotel are so kind and looked after us with care. We loved our time in this special little family run hotel.

There was nothing not to like. It is however not suitable for disabled people.

The views from the hotel were amazing. The location - not surprisingly - is up a hill, hence allowing the fabulous views. The owner and his family and all their staff were absolutely lovely, the food was delicious (breakfast was the best we had in Turkey), the infinity pool is out of this world (that view again!), and Selimiye itself is beautiful and has plenty to do, whilst retaining real character and authenticity (avoiding some of the more unsavoury tourist trappings we found elsewhere).

Everything was perfect

Loca Hotel is the crown jewel of Selimiye. Located in the hills with the most exquisite pool looking at the bay it is an amazing family run boutique hotel. Owners Kansu Bey and his family cater for all your needs and wants. The staff is very friendly and go the extra mile. It is a dream to stay at Loca Hotel.

The breakfast was amazing. I’ve been to Turkey many times over the years, and their breakfast spread is definitely great. The view from the pool is amazing. The rooms were clean and really cute. The AC worked perfectly. The owners were nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

This hotel was spectacular in every way. From the host's welcome, to the beautiful room, the beautiful infinity pool with stunning views of the sea. The sublime breakfast oh, and the gorgeous meal in the evening. We hope to return again next Spring.

The room was a bit small but then again one doesnt need to do much in the room except sleep.

A lovely tucked away gem of a place. Amazing restaurant and dinner area around the pool, incredible view and great food and extremely kind and attentive hosts. Room balconey views are absolutely fantastic and breakfast and food is wonderful. Brilliant place, highly recommended.
