It is very close to Taksim Square and Istanbul Technical University- Taskisla Campus (10 minutes walking). I appreciate some great things: welcome basket with fruits, cookies on the second day, each day thank you letter for choosing the hotel, good-bye present (turkish delight). It is a very clean hotel with extremely kind staff.

Airconditioning is centrally-controlled and may be a concern for some people depending on the season. But the staff are quick to assist and can provide fans if needed.

The hotel was very well located near the Taksim area but in a quiet area. It is just a few steps away from the airport bus station thus very convenient. You can easily reach Istiklal shopping street in a few minutes and there is the Taksim metro station for your commuting needs. Using the Taksim funicular, you can easily reach Kabatas port in 6 minutes. The breakfast has a wide range of options. Room is spacious and with all the amenities. Big thanks to the hotel staff for their excellent service especially Ms. Nancy who gave us a better room and addressed our concern. Will stay here again for our next trip in Istanbul.

First let us tell thay We were very satisfied with the hotel and will surely come again. However there was an issue not with the hotel itself but about the procedure and policy of paying for the reservation. It concerns travelers who will choose "Pay at the property" option when they do the booking. The hotel sends a message a few weeks before your stay to ask for a deposit in order to confirm the reservation which is completely understandable. We were willing to pay this amount but unfortunately they do not accept debit cards and only credit cards so after calling the hotel we found a solution and sent a deposit amount via bank transfer. In our case it was a bit stressful since we were a big group of people and always book hotels and pay at check-in however we have to say that the hotel staff was very polite and professional and helped us to resolve any issue. This is Booking.com fault for not informing the guests about this policy and not so much the fault of the hotel itself which it is perfect. I would suggest since the hotel has this policy to inform the guests by sending a message the first day they make the reservation and not few weeks before so that people decide what they should do because not everyone wants to send a deposit and wants to pay at check-in as advertised when they did the booking. We had no problem about it but we must be just and tell all the goods and bads. This is what is fair after all.

The hotel is in a very good location at a quarter close to taksim square. The rooms are modern clean and have all that you need for your stay. The staff are very atentive and polite. As for the breakfast it has lots of choices and even if it can crowded sometimes it is not a problem. All was perfect and I would surely come back.

We weren't able to adjust the room temperature to our comfort level.

The staff service was excellent and the property pleasant. Security visible and restaurants are within walking distance. The room treats was an added bonus.

Everything was good.

Overall my stay at Nippon hotel really exceeded my expectations. All staff of the hotel were very friendly, polite and helpful especially Ezmi and Burak. Location of the hotel is amazing, Taksim square with lots of shopping and food options is just about 4 mins walk and the place is very family friendly, safe and lively. Lastly the breakfast was awesome with variety of options to choose from, if i plan to visit Istanbul again, I would surely stay at the same hotel.

Central heating was turned up a bit high for my liking - but the staff gladly assisted me with solving this too!!

I stayed here twice in one trip. The staff are honestly the friendliest and most accommodating I’ve come across in a while. Excellent location for sightseeing and it’s about 100m from the airport bus depot. Super convenient!
