The staff were very unfriendly and unapproachable. The room wasn't clean enough. We booked a room once but even though the money was deducted from our account, it was not confirmed and we had to rebook and pay again.

First of all, the host & staff are very nice. But I would not make a reservation if I knew my room is basement. There was No information that the room is basement. (I prefer above ground floor for air circulation) Of course, given low cost it could be.

Location is good since it is quite close to main transportation area.

Hotel is noisy - inmates come in all night using door bell. Near the hotel many bars and music there is really load at night on the weekend. It is really hard to sleep with it. If you have room looking to the inner side of the building - there is noisy ventillation system, and closed windows doesn't help. Rooms are quite dirty, they are cleaned, but superficially. Difficult to communicate in English. The owner speaks English, but he is not all the time at the hotel.

Location was quite good. This is popular gastronomic spot in Istanbul. Many bars and cafes around it. Room was cheap. Owner is really nice guy

THE SMELLLL! Underground room with horrible damp smell i think because the room had no windows, it was unbearable. We kept the ac open for 6 hours and went in the city, when we came back it was only a little better. The hotel room doesn’t look taken care of unfortunately.

cleanliness is bad, back of the bed is broken, curtain is broken you have to fix it by yourself, the room is downstairs the receptionist told me if you want upper you have to pay more so you can imagine how is the view since it's down stairs, while booking it's not mention that.

For a start: the price was not the price booked. They changed for now other reason than "these are our rates". I was given a room that had an awful toilet and a shower that did not work. I requested a change. They gave me a room where the toilet light wasn't working. The toilet door was broken. Bedding was not clean. I could not get any help and I gave up on asking, so I moved to another hotel the day after. I would like to request refunding.

They do not care. I told the reception that I will go out for a breakfast and I am not checking out and will be back. But when I got back they already cleaned the room and checked me out. When I called it out they said "oops, too bad" and they were not solution oriented, they were rather unphased instead.

Location is great, right behind the bars and Bosporus, but not exactly in the chaos.

So I arrived and the studio I paid for was given away to other guests. Instead they gave me a tiny dark little room. As soon as I understood that this is not what I paid for I went downstairs but the receptionist was already gone. I tried to call all the provided numbers but there was no answer. This was already a shock but that was not the worst thing. The worst thing is that the room was unbelievable dirty. Literally not one single thing was clean. The shower, the sink, the bed, the floors was so dirty, moldy and full of insects. I was afraid to touch anything not to get some sort of desease. I honestly can’t believe how dirty and how bad this place was. I cannot comprehend how it is still allowed to run. They should shut it down immediately.

Everything! it was not clean in the room, staff doesn’t speak English, so check in took too much time. I understand that the hotel is very cheap, but what I’ve seen there is just impossible! we had scorpions in our room, I don’t understand how it’s possible in the hotel. i couldn’t sleep whole night because I had to check if there is scorpions in the bed or not. i don’t recommend it!

The towels were really dirty, I have never seen anything like this in my entire life! There were insects in the bathroom and there was a LOT of dirt !!!! I left the hotel after one night, the receptionist was really mannerless he didn't even listen to what I was telling him. I advice no one to go to this place, you can get sick here! NEVER GOING THERE EVER AGAIN!!!! When we addressed the situation the owner of the hotel told us that we could 'just leave'. He didn't care about us as customers or just human beings. LOSS OF MONEY

One of the worst experiences ever, it could not be called an “hotel” even, that’s because of the following: 1- Photos showed in booking are not like real life 2-Location is not comfortable to let a taxi or a car enter, you should walk a steep road with your bags to get a taxi 3-bathroom is too small and not clean as well 4-No security inside the hotel, no locker to keep your stuff safe 5-Staff are cooking at night a raw meat with a very bad smell that can wake you up if you are sleeping 6- No one ask if you need water, coffee or even toiletries 7-You can hear the upper room when they walk or talk! 8-Hotel staff didn’t expect to pay using our credit card as they want cash Dollar$ At the end I do advise anyone read this to forget this hotel totally because you will lose your money and vacation too:(

Upon arrival the host told us that our room was already booked for tomorrow and that he could only host us for 1 night. The rooms were utterly dirty. Nothing worked (airco, tv,...). Moreover every little thing in the room was broken.

The stairs are steep and no lift available you must carry your bags. The street is also steep and narrow. The reception is not always open sometimes you need to phone them. The walls need painting. The sound is not isolated. You can hear people in nearby rooms if talk loudly. The sound from the nearby bars can be heard but it soft.

The stuff are friendly and they don't disturb you. The location is good and the market are close.

location is not accessible by taxi, we have to walk with our havy bags 300 meters in a hill to reach the hotel wet with sweat. i atay one complete week no any day the clean service has entered my room, no any change of sheet or toel. stairs are very nerrow that you cannot pass your bag through only with difficult. it is really catastrofic. our trust on booking.com let us made us believe what is written by such false hotels.
