How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The hotel is located near most things (old city, markantalya mall, old bazar....etc), everything is in a walking distance from the hotel. The staff is well manered, and helpful.

That you have to climb up the stairs to reach the room and the shower area needs some maintenance in the washroom. The sink was also really small.
The location of the hotel and the staff was really nice and helpful.

The bathroom. It was old and so small that it was just possible to stand and the place was finished.
The location is very good. The staff is great and friendly. They also helped me get a taxi at 2 am to go back to the airport. I booked standard double room with view. But i should have booked a twin room instead because the room was okay but bathroom that is shown in the photo for this room was not how the bathroom actually was. It was probably 1m sq and the bath basin was so small that it was impossible to wash your face without spilling water all over yourself and the floor. It was basically size of the palm. And this bathroom was not the one shown in pictures otherwise i would have booked a different room.

Sink was too small to wash your face. Didn’t get hot water from shower. No elevator, which might be tough for elder people.

However, the hotel felt overpriced, there was no breakfast provided, and the most alarming issue was a safety incident on the first night when the shower's glass door shattered unexpectedly, indicating poor maintenance or installation.
My recent stay at this Antalya hotel had its ups and downs. The location was decent, offering easy access to the city center and attractions, and the cleanliness was good.

In room tea and coffee would have been great to have!
The location was great and in a quiet street! Easy to get to the harbor as well as the local transport options! The staff was fantastic and always willing to help.

The shower was fixed to the wall and impossible to control. It sprayed water all over the shower cabin. Very inconvenient. But the receptionist said that they will fix the issue soon.

Warm water in the shower is not always available, you have to use it during the day only, because at evening or morning it finishes very fast

A loaf of bread found in the wardrobe (no, not a compliment from the hotel=) Quite a worn out room (everything works fine, just some things don't look good) And you should be fit cause its quite a few stairs to climb, espesically to the rooftop restaurant - thats not bad, just a warning
perfect placement if you seek for a place to stay in town, not a beach vacay 1) 2min walk from tram station - straight line to/from airport 2) next door is the earliest-opening cafe (open starting 7 am) 3) a place to buy a local simcard is also next door 4) tram to the seaside restaurants is also 2 min walk 5) oldtown is 5 min walk also a nice view from the hotel's own rooftop restaurant. Personnel is really nice. Super cheap. The breakfast is nice, especially for the money it costs, but its too small. I'd use an option "pay more - get more" if available.
