I don't think the hot spring is really hot spring water, but felt more like just hot tap water. The room bath and toilet was divided by just a curtain, perhaps not so suitable for those who need more privacy in the bath. The room design seemed a lil outdated as well.

We opted for the half board option including dinner & breakfast. Quality is not the best but it is decent with good variety of food. Service from the restaurant was also very thoughtful. Our room came with a private bath which was great to be away from the cold in the public pool.

The security, cleanness of room, location, weather and environment are good enough for vacation and work. Especially this hotel is very close to Sun-Moon Lake and mountain pathway; nice spot for refreshing your brain cells.

- Breakfast was terrible. Despite the premises being relatively empty when I arrived, I was seated in a very cramped corner with the sun shining in our faces for most of the time, They did offer us the option to change tables, but by then we were already finishing. Also very limited food choices, especially for my children who prefer a Western menu (I guess for non-Asian guests also). - I booked a family suite. However, the bathroom/toilet cannot be locked from the inside. This caused some anxiety when family members of the opposite sex were changing/using the bathroom/toilet.

- About 5 minutes' walk to the main road/shops. The pier is also within walking distance. - The room I booked was spacious and comfortable. - Staff are flexible to grant requests that are outside of their hotel rules.

The breakfast and the dinner were included in the room charge. But the food choice was limited.

I prefer taking the hot spring bath inside the room and the room was very spacious. Not only did I enjoy the bath inside, I could also enjoy the steaming room facility. The room also accommodates a central heating service. Very good!

The temperature wasn't as adjustable as desired. Not enough drawers in the room. Some areas in the bathroom need to be repainted due to moisture levels from the in room hot spring.

Personal hot springs was amazing. The room was spacious and well designed. The food was good. We really enjoyed the on site amenities and activity space for kids.

The bathroom only had a curtain dividing from the living room. Bit weird but was ok for 2 nights.

There are 2 building attached to this property. We were in the other building which had the games room. The cafe wasnt open so had to go over to the main building for everything but it wasnt an issue. Bed was comfortable with lots of space. Great location. Everything was in walking distance. Bike rental were also great and reasonable priced. The area was quiet overall. Not many places open even though google maps said it was open. It would be really busy in summer season.

Some of the furniture were quite old and cleanliness becomes questionable you see old stains. The age of the facilities took away a bit of the comfort aspect but it was still an enjoyable stay.

Value for money but a bit old. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious. Breakfast was not bad. The ferry pier, restaurants, bicycle rental stores are withing walking distance from the hotel.

The kinds of vegetable are too few for meals, including breakfast & dinner.

There is the room to improve the breakfast; such as add more kinds of vegetable.

Not much to eat at night around the hotel. The restaurants looked so empty we didn't dare go in.

Very near to the boardwalk and cycling path along Sun Moon Lake..Walking distance to the pier. Big rooms. The toiletries provided have a nice botanical scent. Breakfast spread is not bad.

My friend recommend me to stay this hotel when I start to plan family trip. But I was disappointed when I entered the room. There are two buildings of this hotel and I was arranged in next building. Room is not spacious and bright like photos, and looks aged. When I share this experience with my friend, she is surprised cause she stayed in the main building and the room is bright and spacious.

Hotspring in the hotel, very relax. My families left swimming suit when they check out. Hotel staff inform us and arrange delivering, very efficient.

You can’t see the view of the Lake from the hotel and there’s few restaurants and shops around it. There’s just one restaurant for buffet in the hotel.It’s difficult to find nice restaurants near here. They call it hot spring (onsen) but actually it’s not real hot spring.

This hotel has Japanese language staff and he helped us a lot. The building is old but inside is renovated. The room was spacious and has nice bathroom. When we checked out, they keep our luggage and took us the bus stop when we returned. The driver was also kind and courteous.

If possible it seems better to improve the contents of breakfast; especially more options of vegetable.

The location, scenes around the hotel, clean room, attitude of service people, amenities is marvelous for a traveler. There will be a cozy stay. As well the outdoor swimming pool is the nice place to relax yourself.

One of the wardrobe doors couldn't close properly causing the interior light to spill out without a way to turn off the light.

Room comes with a large personal bath with hot spring water. Room feels luxurious and clean. Service staff were friendly. Hotel is conveniently located near to the main bus station and ferry terminal.

Overall nothing to put here.

There is a large buffet breakfast with mostly Asian options but some western comforts too. Our room had two large beds and a large in room pool/spa/tub. On site parking is nice and the location is close to town.

We did not have any negative experiences.

The hotel was clean and staff helpful. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The beds are huge. Having a private hot spring was great too and was not too expensive. Breakfast had a good choice of food. We would recommend this hotel as it is a little out of town so is quiet but still in a great location to access all attractions.

parking lot is really limited. you need to walk for a distance to park the car. walk to and from the parking lot to hotel is not safe
