The Breakfast buffet & Menu was almost everyday the same . The food is still good But I wish they had more different options every day so it wont get boring .

Feels like Heaven on Earth . My room was just infront of the pool which was amazing , The food & drinks menu was Also great, The ocean is so close with an amazing view & there’s a Heart Piece sitting area on the beach That makes you fall in love when you chill on it . Special thanks to (Asia) For upgrading My Room & letting me check in as soon as I arrived & also For allowing me to have a late checkout just to relax on my last day . I appreciate all this great service from all the staff too . And Most of All , Special Thanks to The Manager also for being friendly & greeting me always & till the last moment before I left ❣️ . It was the Hardest GoodBye & Even though I had to leave back home , I still left my Heart there forever 🥺🤍 . & I can’t wait to Come there again on my Next Trip to Zanzibar ❣️

There are a lot of services and entertainment options available at the hotel and they do a dinner on the beach sometimes. I think there should be a tour of the resort or some sort of pamphlet in the room to tell guests what’s available so they can take advantage of everything.

I was at the resort 15-22 May 24 which was off peak season and it was perfect. I opted for full board so breakfast and dinner were included in the price of the stay. Breakfast was buffet that includes egg station (yay for custom omelet every morning) and always had fresh fruit among other things. Dinner during low occupancy was a menu with some options for starter, Main and dessert that changed from one day to the next. I thought this was a fun way to choose my dinner and customize my dining experience. When the hotel had more occupancy, dinner was a buffet with several different meal options. The food was always delicious! There is a mango, avocado, shrimp salad on the pool bar menu; you MUST try it. Resort offers free wifi that was strong and reliable throughout my stay. The staff was very responsive and always looking to ensure you were satisfied and had what you needed. I went to adjust one of the pool chairs and it ‘broke’ and there was a staff member there in 30 seconds to get me another chair. Francis worked most of the days of my stay and was so friendly and offered wonderful customer service. The hotel has a spa and I took full advantage! Michi is awesome, the prices were reasonable and I was able to make multiple appointments because it was quiet at the resort. There is a small gym on site but I chose to walk in the mornings; the road outside the resort is calm and people in the town are very friendly.

Lovely new hotel with very friendly staff. The Food and Beverage staff in particular were superb. We had a number of special dietary requirements and the Manager went out of his way to help us with them.

Just a minor but I would have hoped for more meat-based options in the buffet but the food options available were great!

The hotel was aesthetically pleasing and very clean. I loved the African touch of the room too which gave it a different look to the usual modern hotels. We went for the all-inclusive stay and never had a chance to have the lunch menu due to excursions but the food options for breakfast and dinner were good. The thing that I loved the most were the staff. I’ve never been to a hotel with such lovely and welcoming staff. They were also very attentive; I always felt that my needs were taken into consideration. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking to visit Zanzibar!

The location of the property was excellent overlooking the beach. The staff were nice. The GM and the Manager F&B are always on ground to ensure that our stay was comfortable. There was never a boring moment in the hotel. I will surely come back to the hotel in my next vacation.

We were a group of 4 friends from the UK and Australia. Led by the incredibly personable and lively Ally, the staff at TOA were the best staff our group have ever had the pleasure of being hosted by. We got the all inclusive package and the food and drinks were great and served quickly. There was also good variety in the food and drinks and the bar staff were always game for a chat. The pool and poolside bar is great and has an excellent ambience throughout all times of the day. The same can be said of the beach and its bar. The staff also helped us to organise a number of trips and taxis around the island and gave great tips and local knowledge. The staff went above and beyond for our group. During the stay, I managed to injure my leg which limited my mobility significantly. The staff were all incredibly accommodating to this, including driving me to the doctors, ensuring I was comfortable, and always checking in to see how I was. They also offered to let me stay in the room past the check out time for my comfort in the circumstances. All in all an excellent stay. We will be recommending TOA to future visitors of Zanzibar. Hakuna Matata!

A more modern, good and clean take on a hotel. The staff are very friendly and the amenities are excellent. They have really nice modern rooms that come with great amenities. The pool, bar and the dining is excellent. You have tons of options to choose from. The manager Ally made our stay very pleasant, constantly checking with us if all was good. The outdoor dining on Saturday was amazing. There was music and dance almost everyday which was awesome. If you want a no nonsense hotel, this would be the best pick for you! They also made it extra special for us as we were celebrating a birthday.

We loved absolutely everything! The staff were so-so kind and helpful, food tasted amazing and there was always so many different types of it. Air conditioning was better than any else hotel we have visited in Africa or Asia and rooms were clean, big and nice. We also loved the pool area where you can get literally everything you want- deeper and lower water, sunshine and not if you've had enough of it already. And best coctails in pool bar!! We had already booked another hotel too before our trip to Zanzibar (a bit more expensive one actually) and we regretted this decision every day and wished we had spent our whole trip in Zanzibar in TOA's hotel.
