How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff were lovely, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Hotel staff are customer-focused, and customer satisfaction is a top priority. During my long stay, I was very happy. Even the hotel's GM sent fruit and a letter with kind wishes as a complimentary gift to my room. I really like breakfast. The food was fantastic. As a guest, I was very satisfied with the hotel staff's kind and positive attitude.

I have already answered your questions but I repeat my complaint: when I checked in, it seems that I checked in the wrong Radisson. It seems that I was booked at Radisson Plovid. I there fore requested they cancel the reservation made to Radisson Plovid . The reception assured me that they will do it . A week later I see on my credit card that Radisson Plovdiv has charged me for the reservation despite not staying there because I stayed at Radisson Kyiv’s city centre. I have there requested you do contact thém and explain them the situation and ensure that the money deducted from my credit card to be re credited. Please confirm asap.

As I was visiting Kyiv for work, the lack of a proper work desk in a large room was a downside. I ended up working behind a round glass table, which is not super comfortable for that. The other design flaw is the lack of a soft ambient lighting fixture in the bathroom, which would make it nicer to use the bathroom at night without blinding your sleepy eyes. On the last night of my stay, my room was turning quite cold as the weather outside was turning for the winter, and the thermostat in the room did not seem to work. I was quite disappointed with breakfast, which was not included in the room charge, very expensive (almost 900 UAH or close to $25) and not impressive in terms of quality and availability of food. I bought it only once when I had little time to eat. Coffee, although made by the bartender and not a machine, wasn't good at all. There was not enough seating available in the restaurant busy with business travelers. Scrambled eggs tasted bad and were a consistency of mashed potatoes. The buffet ran out of many vegetables at 8:30 am, and it was nowhere near the quality and variety of a hotel breakfast I had a few days before in Krakow, which was 30% cheaper. Oh, and I have to warn travelers of a loud and long air raid alert announcements, which will play on the speakers in your room for about a minute, in English and Ukrainian, with detailed instructions on how to get to the shelter. It was both a blessing and a curse, especially at night. I would appreciate much more concise and quieter announcements, as they get annoying after day one (and needless to say, you CAN hear the "public" sirens whaling outside very well).
The location is unbeatable, walking distance to many central places in the city. The staff was nice and helpful. The Premium room was super spacious with lots of natural light. Overall pretty comfortable stay. The room was well designed, clean and mostly comfy. The reception manager kindly allowed me to stay an extra hour beyond the checkout time to accommodate a work call I needed to take in the privacy of my room.

There was a distinct smell from the drain in the bathroom and they worked poorly.
Location is great, fantastic, friendly staff, spacious room. Always great to get a nice present of fruits upon the arrival.

I liked everything.
Considering such bad times in Ukraine, you feel absolutely safe in this hotel. Сool shelter is arranged for guests with everything necessary for a long stay there during air raids. The hotel is located in the center and you can easily find everything you need. Many services are available inside the hotel, such as a gym, sauna, massage, restaurant. I would like to pay special attention to the staff - everyone is very friendly and always ready to help. The staff at the reception took into account all my wishes and gave me the desire to return to this hotel again.
