I wish the cabin was more soundproof. Being so close to US-10 meant traffic all night. Hard to sleep.

The property was clean and the staff was very friendly. The cabin was exactly as I hoped. It was cute and cozy.

The front door pry 20' from the highway. It's loud outside, loud inside with Windows closed. Slows down at night at least. Small holes in walls, and I'm sure we heard mice in walls running around. (surrounded by woods, I get it, but do something) Hair, and left over soap still in shower. Didn't use that while we were there..

The cottage it's self was spacious and nice. It was the 2 room kitchen. Big one. The people working there, left us alone.

The shower floor was painted red and peeling. So when wet it looked like red slime :( The beds could use a foam topper for better comfort. Even the cheap ones would do.

The room wasn’t clean, but I addressed my concerns with the manager.

Cute motel, easy access from road. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My pit bull was treated very fairly, and was not feared.

My only disappointment was to find that, though there was a coffee machine in the room, no coffee was provided. It may have been available at the desk, but I did not ask.

I stayed in a smaller economy room at the Alpine Motel. They also offer larger rooms and cabins for those wishing more space. While my room was small, it had all the amenities I needed to make my stay comfortable. Those included A/C, microwave, refrigerator, en suite bathroom, a comfortable bed, and storage space. Since the purpose for my point was to visit friends and go fishing, I didn't spend time in the room other than to sleep and use the bathroom facilities. Check in was quick, and the staff friendly.

I think one of the walls was a bit to thin, so we could hear a bit of conversation from the neighbours.

Good place to stay on the way to destinations on the east shore of Lake Michigan. Their location is close to many local State Parks.

TV and Internet service sub par. Air fresheners don't quit eliminate the old smell. Some furniture needs updating.

Very dusty!!!! I dusted & wiped the floor before moving in things! You need a broom & dust pan in each room. Also the shower drain was clogged & it needs draino in room 4! I forgot to leave them a note about it. The shower would overflow onto the floor!!!!

The $50 price was good.

When I got there I had gone thru 3 rooms to get one with a TV working,I only had one towel no wash cloth,and a space heater for heat,it's under new ownership

There appears to be different owners than during my visit in 2021. The trash dumpster was located next to our cabin and the buck pole. The dumpster was overflowing when we arrived. After 6 days, it was still overflowing and never emptied. The bathroom needs more light. The wall furnace needs to be cleaned, adjusted so it doesn't rattle, and wired so that fan is not running constantly. Electrical wiring is sketchy. Uninsulated concrete block walls sweat from cold temps hitting them exterior while the heating system is keeping things warm on the inside. Room darkening shades are needed so guests don't have to block out the security lights using towels.

This was the second time I stayed at Alpine Motel and it was an improvement due to the larger space and improved cable TV.

Communication about my special needs. I ended up not able to stay there because of it. Not for most people, this is an ok place if your not expecting a gateway hotel. Cabin feel.

Great for economy. Old but clean. Very small rooms. Super for hunters or fishers it just wanting that wooded feel. Nothing much around. But Ludington only less than a half HR away which is an awesome little sea side town. And this motel makes it affordable to go there.
