Madden, who checked me in, was a breath of fresh air 😍. She was very polite and a pleasure to communicate with. She went out of her way to provide everything i asked for. She is a total keeper for your property. Also, I definitely wanted to acknowledge Ms. Tracenia is hoping that i spelled it correctly. She is a valuable member of your team. Very professional and an impeccable person she went out of her way to make sure that the cleaning ladies were able to clean my room after hours it was much appreciated she deserve an increase in her pay for the outstanding job she does each and every day. Need new mattresses, pool was not 87 degrees as posted. Way colder. Breakfast crew got slammed. Not ready for late crowd. Night clerk on first night seemed more interested in cell phone. Kinda looked annoyed but was not rude. All the sanitizer stands were empty.

Room was okay, breakfast was not good. But for the cost it was okay. Kinda expected a little more from a Best Western.

Room was not clean very well. Food was behind beds. Beds were raggedy. Bathroom was not clean good. Toilet was lifting up. Rules need to be applied to 16 and older only. Toddlers and little kids were jumping and playing in the hot tubs when adults were in. A kid did #2 in the pool floor. Staff walked and never cleaned it. No towels were available at pool area. Breakfast was not what I was used to receiving from here. Very limited.

1 thing that I was VERY bothered by was Housekeeping, they were very rude. My husband and I would walk past and say good morning, there was no response back at all. We had asked 1 housekeeper for extra trash bags for our room, she said told us she didn't have any and just walked away from us; when clearly she did infact have some on her cart. They were very UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE.

1st let me just say, Madison at the front desk is awesome. She made the check in process easy; upon arrival, my booking (reservation) was not showing in their system, but she was able to locate my booking and get my family and i checked in. Madison's personality is fitting for front desk! Keep up the great work Madison. 2nd, the rooms were a decent size. The beds, although on the smaller size, were very comfortable. The bathroom was big enough to fit 2 people in comfortably, and the shower (hot water and pressure) was a plus, however the shower curtain is on the short side, so while showering, water gets all over the floor. 3rd, breakfast was pleasant every morning, not too many options to choose from, but still satisfying. 4th, the indoor heated pool and hot tub was very relaxing .... all in all, we enjoyed our stay and would return. The hotel overall look is a little outdated, but nonetheless still comfortable.

If you are looking for something fancy- it is not your choice. Hotel is basic.

Clean, quiet. If you are looking for good balance between price and comfort-this is the deal! Nice complimentary breakfast, but come early to hit the line.

The bathroom ceiling was cracked and paint was bubbled up a bit. The tub faucet didn't quite clear the edge of the tub so the water would puddle in one of the upper corners and there was some mold as a result. The water would scald you if you turned it to the 1/2 way point or more. The small fridge did not have the freezer compartment & the shelves on the door were missing the rails (so anything you put there could fall out when you open the door). On the Booking.com app it says breakfast runs to 10 am but it ends at 9 am, which caused us to miss breakfast one morning. The TV was not a smart TV so we could not log in to our Netflix, Hulu etc. The AC unit would constantly turn on and off which would wake us up at times.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a bit better than what I would expect. The hotel is in a great location to reach the key attractions we were looking to enjoy. The room was on par with a typical hotel in this price range as far as size and comfort.

Elevator seemed a bit dated. Wish I could’ve had a later check out but it worked out fine hanging out downstairs in the comfort of the lobby.

The room I was put in this time wasn't as nice as the previous one. The heater did not work very well, even when I turned it up all the way to 85 degrees! The smoke detector had a piece of plastic covering it so I am not sure what would have happened if there had been a fire. Also, the sprinkler in the room was pulled away from the wall. Towels and the sheer curtain were not of very good quality.

After being gone for a couple of days I returned to spend another 2 days at Best Western. Now, the coffee and juice machines worked! Once again the staff were professional and friendly.

Unfortunately on the day I arrived the coffee and juice machines were not working and so that made breakfast unpleasant. The staff had called for repairs to be made but it took a couple of days for them to be fixed. Also, the towels were were scratchy and worn out with some having small holes. The sheer curtain had a rather large hole in it. The room could use more lighting for reading purposes.

The staff is very professional and cordial. The location is excellent due to being near restaurants, stores and Colonial Williamsburg.The room was fine and the selection at breakfast was good.

Breakfast was overcrowded, the normal operating time is 7 to 9am but from 8 no seats were available and most requested food was scarce, probably they should consider an extension of the hours on busiest days.

Indoor pool open until 11 pm, very big.

The rooms and hallways need to be updated and the bathrooms need vent fans, and new linens. The seating arrangements at the breakfast area need to be changed to allow more space at the bar area along with placing plates and silverware at the hot end of the bar (it was confusing trying to figure out where the line started and which direction to go). Also, a waffle maker instead of frozen breakfast sandwiches would have been better. Someone was smoking in one of the rooms on our floor and the entire floor reeked of cigarette smoke and weed! 🤢
