Room key didn't work on one of 2 rooms booked. Ice bucket wasn't in room and no soap in room just shampoo and cond. Not very quiet. Some of the room doors looked rusted in places could use fresh paint to lively up the place.

Newark is a quiet location, with lots of shops and restaurants, easy access to NYC by PATH train. We stayed there for the ice hockey, Prudential Arena is a short walk away. Also the Soccer Red Bull Arena is not far away.

We reserved a King bed room but got a queen bed room instead because the hotel was sold out. Not sure how they assign their rooms since we reserved it 3 mths ago and we checked in around 4 (their check-in time starts at 3:00). So not sure how all their King bed rooms are already rented out. Other than that, everything was good.

Good location...less than 10 mins walk to the Prudential Center. Room is clean and comfy.

The room I was assigned was not clean. It had stained bed linen. Our room was changed and the shower curtain had holes in it. We requested an extra blanket our first night and never got it. We asked the second time and received it. The blanket had cigarette burn holes in it. This was not acceptable for a star hotel. We're definitely reframing from using the facilities again.

Location was ideal and convenient to transportation to NYC. The front desk was very helpful. They recommended great locations for food and drinks.

I liked the male front desk staff, they were more receptive as compared to the female. For instance, when checked in, I was expecting the lady to show us the elevator, but she watched us go the wrong way before we went back to ask to be redirected. Also, even though we chose a non smoking room, we suspected our neighbor smoked in their bathroom as we could smell it from our end.

The location was excellent and close to the Penn Station. Facilities were clean as well, rooms were well kept.

The room needed some minor maintenance: the toilet tissue holder was broken, the bathroom door wouldn't shut, and there weren't any phone charger outlets in the room. Also, our room keys stopped working every day and we had to go to the front desk to get them reactivated.

Location was convenient to the train station. The room was serviced by room service daily, which was nice and unexpected. Hotel was lovely and well decorated. The lobby store was well stocked.

Good place in town Newark. Close to train station. They have free shatel to airport Alot of store in area: starbox, wholefood. Restaurant in the building. Cheap parking. Mir light in room then usual

The bathroom fan especially makes quite a racket. Bathroom door could barely be closed if I stick something in the frame. Even so, the noise coming from that fan made it hm hard to sleep

It would have been a better stay of there was more sounds proofing between rooms, of the was information in the room regarding local restaurants and if there were some amenities. Everything was quite bare. Also, neighbours played the TV very loudly all night (literally) which could easily be heard through the walls.

It was clean and nice looking. It served the purpose of the stay.

Parking was tight but we found a spot. They charged $20 for parking.

It was very close to the venue we were going. It was extremely reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area.

Great location and extremely convenient shuttle service. No issues with leaving bags after check out. That’s a great place to stay if you want to explore New York but don’t want to overpay for hotels located in Manhattan.

The restaurant was beautiful but WORST hotel food we have ever experienced. Such a shame, everything high rating but food was HORRIBLE. They need a new chef. If there was a rating for food of 1-10 we would have given a “negative” number. Food, looked old leftovers warmed up. Truly disappointing in the midst of a great stay. I would stay here again but avoid the restaurant.

The Staff was fantastic, extremely personal and friendly and accommodating. Fucia and her husband and their little store were great, very friendly and everything you need.

See above. Also, I could plainly hear conversations of others from my bathroom and through the door, along with what must have been a housekeeping room right next door. Parking fee of $20 also did not appear to be listed anywhere.

There was 100% NO free breakfast, BUT your Google listing states there IS, and that is misleading.
