How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The rooms were showing their age.
Proximity to Bryce Canyon National Park was great. A big hot breakfast buffet was included in the price of our room, which was appreciated.

Room wasn’t smelling nice when we arrived. Part of the carpet was wet. No bar area.
Very near the park entrance and good amenities on site. Large room but could be renovated

The rooms are very cozy and the location is very quiet. Despite the large number of guests, the breakfast was good and the staff extremely efficient

There was a pile of sand on the tile at the door of the room. The trash can had been emptied in the bathroom, but it was left sitting in the middle of the bathroom floor. Not huge issues, but I at least expected that the room would have been thoroughly vacuumed during the cleaning process.
Ruby's Inn BW Plus is an interesting place! If you need something during your stay, they have it. Instead of a hotel, it is more like a complex. Employees were very helpful and accommodating. The line for breakfast was about a mile long but it moved much more quickly than we expected. The breakfast buffet was exceptional.

Small pillows, creaky shower floor, tiles/grout chipped and loose, noise from other guests above us- could hear EVERYTHING.

The lack of food options. The restaurant was ok but a little pricey for the quality.
The location was amazing. Our trip was planned to go to Bryce Canyon and it was 5 minutes away if that. The staff was friendly.

Grocery store prices are too high

Breakfast was excellent and so was the restaurant for dinner. Great location for visiting Bryce National Park. Room was very good and considering the snow outside, nice and cosy.

Everything was in separate buildings and they seated you like a restaurant for the breakfast buffet and gave you a server so you had to tip zthem.

Tesla chargers were a bit difficult to find and the staff at reception wasn't super attentive, but nothing I would describe as particularly negative.
Clean and comfortable - a good, classic motel experience with a pretty big room. Tesla chargers on site and a simple breakfast included. Great location if you're planning to visit Bryce Canyon!

Lots of asphalt …. Would look a lot better with some landscaping Tiny (tiny!!!) toilets in the rooms. Didn’t have hot water sometimes. So tired of people with tattoos and gauges in their ears …probably not much that can be done about that from a staffing perspective but it just looks so low-class and tacky. Perhaps if you have staff with tattoos they should be required to cover them up …or rewarded for covering them up.
Simple but authentic . Excellent restaurant with great food and great service .

Front and stairs to the room looked outdated. Our view was of a warehouse. Food at the "all you can eat buffet" made the whole dining experience chaotic since people were climbing all over each other to keep their plates full. Our waiters, however, was great.

This seems like the place to stay in Bryce Canyon. Facilities are awesome - pool, gym, hottub, giftshop, artwork, restaurant, laundromat. Can't beat the location - only an 8 minute drive into the park. Breakfast was included and the food was surprisingly good and service was fast. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

They could do with some changing facilities at the pool for people staying at the lodges rather than the main building, but they did have a small shower/toilet which we used to change. Otherwise couldn't fault our stay here!
Location was excellent just a short drive to Bryce canyon, with shops, restaurants and a petrol station on the doorstep. Swimming pool was fairly large and warm. Breakfast was excellent.

The pool area was like a Zoo ( but That's an insult to the zoo), Kids out of Control, nobody was watching - no Patents - no personal. In the Moment when we arrived a child vomited in front of the whirlpool. -relaxed evening-
