The room was very cold as the heat wasn’t on and the fridge wasn’t plugged in which made the start less convenient. The door has gaps around the frame, so the cold drafts continued and made the bathroom a chilly experience.

The space was clean and fresh. We arrived at 1 am and the staff was very accommodating of our late arrival. There wasn’t any noise from the neighbors.

no breakfast offerings. An electric kettle to boil Hot water and tea & coffee packets were notably absent. a microwave oven would have been appreciated as well. The entrance to the property is extremely bleak. It gave the appearance of possible illegal activity. when we were waiting for our ride to leave one other "guest" made us very uncomfortable walking back and forth asking for cigarettes & other items. I suppose the television shows were good.

For starters, when we got there, we had to wait about 30 minutes for the owner to come back to the establishment and check us in. The place was all locked up with a phone number for us to call when we arrived. We were told there would be breakfast and coffee starting at 8am, we went down at 8:15 to get coffee, because there were no makers in our room, and again, front door was locked and no answer when we knocked . The whole atmosphere just gave us an unsafe feeling. We slept with a borrowed knife from our daughter’s new apartment,( we were in town due to her starting school at Purdue) and a chair up against the door.

The location of the Motel was a plus. You can tell it was as clean as it could be. The owner was very friendly , and charming.

This is NOT a $100/night motel. We checked in att 9pm. The front desk was locked up and we had to call for someone to come. They did not give us the wifi password. The room had 1 towel but the front desk was closed so we couldn't get a 2nd. It was still closed when we left at 8am. The door adjoining another room barely locked. The outside door could not be locked from the outside, only the deadbolt inside. Luckily we didn't have to go out. I could push hard on the door and it would swing open. Only discovered this in the AM when I was trying to get another towel.

My big 3 were technically met... The bedding was clean The room did not smell like smoke (of any variety) The sink, toilet, and shower worked hot and cold Bonus...fridge and microwave The woman that opened the front desk to check us in was friendly.
