The perfect location, right on the B-Line trail. Walking distance to most bars and restaurants.

1) no free breakfast. I’ve been to other hotels not as expensive and they had free breakfast 2) also sat morning before noon checkout time I wanted to take a swim and hot tub they were unavailable for chemical treatment. It was 9 am seems like it should have been ready. I did use them however after a certain amount of time 3) card did not work from pool to courtyard Fri night and Saturday morning 🙁

The staff double charged me when I checked in for my room. Even though I explained I had booked on Booking they swiped my credit card for the full amount of the room and a deposit. When I showed them that they had already changed me via Booking and asked for a supervisor to clarify the supervisor told the staff that he shouldn’t have changed then told me he would get back to me by the end of the day to return me money, he never did. I asked again later that night and a second manager argued insistently and interrupting me that I needed to pay that amount until I broke it down for him. He promised to call the manager and would email me shortly with an explanation of my refund. He never did. Ultimately I had to stay a second night for family. The staff did not seem to really grasp that they made a mistake and add really didn’t seem to care that I had to wait to get my money back. About a month after I stayed there I saw a random charge show up on my credit card from the hotel. I called to inquire why no one could explain it but a manager claimed he would speak to the account person and call me back the next day but never did. Very poor communication by the staff.

The location was awesome. The building was clean, there’s breakfast you can purchase.

• Some of the front desk staff were not able to answer basic questions. • Didn’t like the bathtub - curved oddly and uncomfortable to stand in when showering. • The bathroom faucet/sink splattered water way too much. • No door where sink is. That’s fine for a single guest, but when two share a room, it’s very inconvenient. • Disappointed there was no complmentary coffee in coffee. (You can make coffee in room but only powdered creamer available which I don’t like.) • Starbucks in lobby couldn’t accept my payment no cash allowed and was told (by front desk) that because I booked with Booking.Com the hotel was unable to charge incidentals (like the Starbucks items). • My reason for staying at this hotel was a special occasion and I guess I was hoping for a great stay (w/ regard to the hotel) rather than a blah stay.

Very easy access to the Monroe Convention Center! Comfortable bed.

Our first room was not very clean at all but staff was quick and understanding. Moved us into a similar room very quickly

dirty. the room had dirty vents and was not a good representation through the pictures posted. i was excited to stay there and use the pool/hot tub and was uncomfortable to do so.

The hotel was clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the bathroom and room was spacious. it was so close to the downtown Bloomington best eateries, bars, and local hotspots.

Poor connect between booking.com and the hotel. The reception would not even try to resolve. They just need an additional payment and no revert on refund from either booking.com or the hotel as yet.

I paid for the room on booking.com but the guest was not allowed without paying once again for the room. Have spoken to Robert at the hotel today and he has said he will look into it, but it was not a pleasant experience at all

My gosh! It’s a pandemic. I didn’t even want to be on the road. There was a family emergency. Who cares whether a hotel gets a good rating or not. It’s not normal.
