The beds! And it wasn't the cleanest. It's not the worst we've been in, but definitely not the best or cleanest either. The minute we stepped in the door, the smell of pot and pine-sol hit us in the face. The beds were super noisy. Every time you'd move or turn over, it sounded like there was a metal locker rattling under the bed. For one night, we figured we could tolerate it.

The hotel was not clean. And the cleaning staff was ridiculous. At 11:00 p.m., she started bagging on our door, stating that we were not supposed to be in the room. Left and came back bagging again. Called the front office, and they claimed they would take care of it. But, at that point, my 7 month old was wide awake!! I'm very disappointed in our stay. Will not be staying at this location again.

It was a terrible room. Walls patched and unpainted. Door looked terrible. Vents over light was off. Mattress was bad. When I told clerk we had booked with a pet, he changed our room. There was a sign at checking saying 500.00 fine for pets.

The room hadn’t been cleaned. There were marks all over the mirror, it was as though someone had made a cross on the mirror with a finger full of cream! The bedside table had marks all over it and the bathtub hadn’t been cleaned. My husband raised all this with the front office and we were offered another room, however that bathtub was full of pubic hair so had clearly not been cleaned either. We opted not to stay at the hotel and ended up leaving Helen! Which meant we lost out on Helen the next day as we went as far as Athens that evening!!

Restroom was dirty it needs a deep cleaning. I bought some bleach and sprayed the hot tub and the floor. Toilet sit was loose. Other than that everything was fine.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the sheets were clean, breakfast was waffles, grits, sausage biscuits, muffins, coffee, apple juice, and orange juice. Was mostly a quiet place to stay and the location was only a few minute walk to town. Great place to stay.

the wifi didn’t work once when we were there and there and neither did the TV. the room door was broken so even with it closed the wind and rain was blowing in & the AC was torn apart when we got there (we had to fix it) 2 of the 4 lights in the room didn’t work and only a couple plugs even worked our key stopped working every single day so we kept having to get new keys each morning

I felt gross as soon as I walked into the room. It had the weirdest smell. It didn’t look like it had been cleaned at all. I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels that were nicer and cleaner than this one. If they would just take a little bit more time to clean the rooms, it wouldn’t be bad at all. You would probably get good reviews.
