Proximity to highway was not as noisy as expected and did provide quick access to on ramps. Only 3 pillows in room so we shared the third one.

Reservation through Booking.com was easy and checking using the Inn's online form was quick, trouble fee! Room was very clean.

The only downside was the INN is right under the Highway, and you can hear all the racing cars!

We were in town to run the Inaugural Revel Mt Diablo Half Marathon...and really had no idea where to stay. We did our research and came upon Diablo Mountain Inn and it got great reviews. We were a litte leary simply because of the location given it's proximity to the highway. I am a light sleeper and wanted to make sure I got adequate sleep before the half marathon. However, we were pleasantly surprised that the noise was not that bad with the door closed. They even offered ear plugs if I wanted them, but I travel with my own. The front desk staff (we met a few, but I only got Steven's name) were all very warm, welcoming, accommodating and pleasant. The location was very central to everything we were in town to do. Nice neighborhood with Broadway Plaza within walking distance (less than a mile). The room was extremely clean and the bed was comfy. The property was well maintained and clean as well. We will definitely stay here again!!

Nothing, its good

It was very easy to find off 680, it had a well lighted parking lot, the rooms were very clean and quiet. Not a lot of extra amenities, but if you are going to walnut creek on a short business trip or to attend a medical appointment, this IS the place.

Convenient location to the downtown and restaurant areas of Walnut Creek and the BART Station. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Recommend if staying in this part of the bay area.

It is right next the freeway but the noise doesn't bother me. Most of it is blocked out when door is shut.

It is very convenient and reasonably priced. I have stayed there whenever visiting the area.

The location was right next to the freeway and you could hear the freeway from the parking lot and when the room door was open. The room was a bit muggy. I’m 6’5” and I had to duck to get under the roofline in front of the rooms.

The staff was wonderful. The location was easy to get to and close to Starbucks and dining. There was free parking.

I did hear a bit of traffic noise. It was mild and didn’t disrupt sleep. White noise machine would totally block it out, so I’ll bring that along for my next stay.

The stairs to the 2nd floor feel dangerous & steep. For older people, like us, we felt very uncomfortable going up & down the stairs.

we were in town for an appt & we needed to arrive by 6AM so we decided to stay here to cut out the drive from hm. Instead of 20mins away, we were 5-7mins away- perfect!

right next to the freeway and can hear quite a bit of traffic noise. However, it became less obvious once a/c was turned on. The initial check in system was the most cumbersome I have ever experienced and took way too long — especially after a long day of traveling.
