How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Check in was very slow. There was a line to check in & our rooms weren't ready. The pool area needs to be refreshed. I didn't see any pool towels and the sign said to shower but I didn't see a shower. The area around the pool was old & not the cleanest, but it was ok for a weekend visit.
The breakfast was great. The guy working in the breakfast area worked really hard. The room was very clean. The location was great for us.

The facility is a little outdated. It looks as if renovations have occurred in a few areas but the pool (especially) needs A LOT of work (paint peeling, etc.) The rooms and carpets could use some additional updates as well.
Good location as it was close to everything in Helen. Breakfast was a hit with the kids and staff was awesome about getting our cart for luggage when we arrived. The kids also enjoyed having a swimming pool available.

The only thing I noticed was a repair to the tub. And I can't say that was a dislike it was just visible.
Everything was great. All the staff were wonderful, polite , helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel's not brand new but you can see that they've been upgrading. Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

There was no hot coffee upon check-in, which the ad states is available. The spa water was not very hot and the water was dirty and gray the desk clerk stated a lot of people had been it. When I changed my clothes, I found a candy wrapper, other trash, and grass in my bathing suit.The breakfast bar: the eggs and the biscuits were cold.
The staff was very nice and efficient. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was clean and several people were enjoying it. The kids enjoyed the workout room. Parking spaces are easy to find

I didn't like the fact that the hot tub wasn't hot and needed water added and the pool wasn't really clean other than that I truly enjoyed it

The bathroom appeared to be not completely clean. There was hair in the tub and some water on the vanity
I loved the location and the indoor pool as it was so hot and sunny and I can’t be out in direct sunlight for long. The breakfast was great! Many things to choose from.

I was there for four days and room wasn’t cleaned before I left. Three days is too long between cleaning at least according to the paperwork.

The staff was friendly except one front desk clerk at check-in, she was not friendly or helpful when I asked questions. Seemed bothered. Everyone else was very friendly. The hotel is older and could use some updating, replacing the carpet and couches in the suites.

The shower head didn't work well. a little run down but not a problem.
The breakfast was super. Hot and cold selections and very plentiful. The swimming pool was nice and the location was excellent. We could walk to any where we wanted.

Comfy, Homey, loved the Breakfast. Friendly staff: however they need to work on check in times, I know his says 3:00; we arrived as a few other travelers did between 2:30 & 3:00. One room was ready by 2:45 but the other not until 3:15. Most places I have ever stayed at always have the room ready 1 hour before check in time (this is when we usually go). But at least be ready by proposed check-in time, and it definitely shouldn’t be moved to later than 3:00 p.m.

The elevator needs a good updating but it worked ok. Just no lights or anything works on it anymore. That’s the only thing I can say but it’s not a big negative anyway
