Bedroom needs some updating, specifically the bathrooms

You can’t beat the location, they had beach chairs and umbrellas, beach towels which was very convenient. The breakfast is amazing. Get the strawberry pancakes 😅

The room was very small and the mattress on the bed was not a good quality. The staff were so wonderful; however, they were quite understaffed. We had to set up our own lawn chairs and umbrella each morning. This required dragging your lounge chairs and umbrella from the storage area. The daily happy hour was generally late due to the staff person running the front desk checking people in, taking reservations, and trying to set up happy hour.

The location was beautiful! The outside porches were so relaxing.

My husband was hospitalized a few hours after we arrived. We are home now, and he will see his doctor tomorrow. My husband blacked out when he tried to get out of the ocean. People on the beach came to our rescue, the beach patrol came, and then the ambulance. My husband was in the hospital, Nassau-Baptist Medical Center, for 2 days. It is 5 minutes from the lodge. The people at the lodge found a place for me to stay for a week. When my husband was released from the hospital, we decided to drive to my brother-in-laws house in SC. We flew home yesterday so that my husband can get the surgery he needs near home. I am so thankful for the staff at Elizabeth Point!

Beautiful! Super friendly staff. Really good for romantic getaway. Soaking in the huge bath was amazing. They have free snacks and drinks which are much appreciated when getting over jet lag. The room and views were stunning! Not enough good things to say. Will be coming back!!!

Wonderful views, easy 100 yards walk onto the beach with resort provided lounge chairs and large umbrellas. Facility is even nicer than the photos. Every member of the staff makes you feel more like family than a guest. Breakfast daily is excellent. Almost don’t want to leave the review, as more people will visit, but truly a wonderful place. We came for 3 nights for a birthday and will come back.

Absolutely nothing!

First and foremost, the location was perfect. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. EVERY staff member made us feel like family. Rudy, our breakfast chef was THE MOST awesome, funny and made the BEST pancakes we have ever tasted!

The Bathroom showers need updating.

This is a historic Inn. The staff is wonderful and the beach setting is beautiful. Salt Life( restaurant ) is just a block away and really fun. The bathrooms have older tubs but everything was very clean. The free breakfast was wonderful. We will stay here again in the future.

Beautiful location right on the beach, and very conveniently located close to historic Fernandina Beach, Ft Clinch park, and walking distance to some restaurants. Very nicely appointed and freshly decorated.

I think the only thing we didn’t like was the bed. It was old and uncomfortable. Squeaky.

Yes, the breakfast was great. Best pancakes I’ve ever ate. Service was top notch. Beautiful view and many inside or outside options to eat.
