Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe food in the restaurant is a bit limited (especially for vegetarians) & portion sizes are big.
Lovely log cabins which were clean and cosy Really enjoyed making smores at night Staff were really helpful, especially when recommending walks

United KingdomAlthough room cleaning was complimentary, no basic cleaning was done, no replenished tea/coffee/towels/ bin emptying, cleaning each day. Staff in restaurant not pleasant on the two nights we used it. Price for food at a premium. Wedding which took over most of the lodges for two of the four nights stayed. The wedding day was noisy and didn’t give us the experience of staying at Evergreen that we expected. This was not something we expected when booking…… expensive stay to be kept awake until 3 in the morning.
Good location to Yosemite Park. Stayed in a one bed cottage. Cottage location was fantastic. Complimentary guest services. Views for sunset amazing. Reception staff welcoming and very helpful.

United KingdomWe were upgraded to a cabin which was a sweet surprise. Restaurant had good food, it was reasonably priced for being in Yosemite. Free s’mores kits were a really fun touch and the pool was very nice - coldish for my partner but a fine temperature for me. All the staff were so lovely and we had an amazing time - thank you! We hope to go back one day and stay for longer.

United KingdomWe got upgraded to a family cabin which was great. However the room had a constant big water stain on the floor and smelled because of it. We raised the issue with reception but unfortunately this was not resolved for the four nights we were there. We wondered if it wouldn't have been better if we had just stayed in the room we booked originally
The location was really special, the staff was super nice and helpful and we did one of the organised tours (Wonders) which was really incredible. Tom - our guide - was extremely prepared about the history, flora and fauna of Yosemite and he answered our questions all day! He also gave us great tips for what to explore the next days on our own. Thank you Tom for your dedication!

United StatesI would have enjoyed a water fill station closer to the tent area and a slightly bigger bathroom/shower station.
I loved how beautiful it was. Everything was close enough to walk everywhere. The tents that we slept in were awesome. We had a 4 person tent and it came with everything you needed!

United StatesI'm nit picking here - the wine list in the tavern could be better - but I'm a total wine snob and the cocktails are great. I had to send back a tofu scramble that was inedible, but it was taken off the check without a problem and other meals at the tavern were delicious. Also, everything about the Evergreen is so pleasant and easy that the missteps don't take a toll on the overall experience.
The staff and the facilities are what really sets this place apart. Our room was quite small, but clean and comfortable. There are so many facilities to explore: --lounge, rec room, pool (with a bar), tavern, lookout points-- that keep you from feeling trapped in a small room. The general store is open long hours and has everything you need. It was a pleasure to walk there and stroll the grounds with my morning coffee. The staff is what really sets it apart. They are so helpful and welcoming.

United StatesMy 21 -year-old son and I stayed here for three nights. Great lodge. Has everything one could need, including a restaurant and general store. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the lodge is maybe 10 minutes from one of the entrances to Yosemite. The lodge is comprised of (very nice) cabins, so it doesn’t have a hotel feel to it. I highly recommend this place.

United StatesThe air didn’t cool the entire place, just one of the bedrooms. We were there during a heatwave though. The restaurant took quite awhile for us to get our food 2 of the 3 nights. You’re stuck eating there because of lack of options nearby.
We liked the location. We loved the coffee bar and the gift shop. The cabin had plenty of space. Lots of fun for the kids to have on the facilities outside, like the zip lines and playground areas.

United KingdomTavern and restaurant a little underwhelming. Only one washing machine to 3 dryers so a constant queue. Playground seemed to be shut up one day (not sure why). But this is nitpicking as its an incredible place all round and we would stay again and again!
This is an absolute gem of a glamp/cabin site. The pool is wonderful and the tents very comfortable. Good facilities like the shared camp bathroom and laundry. Bear boxes for food. Beautiful location and the sunsets are incredible. General store and reception staff helpful and friendly.

GermanyPool could’ve been a bit warmer, hot tub a bit cooler. The general store could’ve been a bit better stocked. Some popular items (big bottles of water, grab-n-go options) were quickly sold out on some days. Food options pricey but probably what we would expect in Yosemite. Food quality was good so we felt it was still worth it.
The staff is friendly, especially Danny from the restaurant. He made our dining experiences extra special. Thanks Danny! The food is excellent. Very family-friendly with good playground and entertainment options for kids. Free S’mores every night was a hit.
