Breakfast needs a few grab and go items before general breakfast service for early risers. When prepped and stacked night before, desk staff can put them out in minutes. Those items should be out first before cooked items.

Room had plumbing issues and wasn’t taking care of until next morning after notifying the front desk 4 times. Woke up to having a flood in the bathroom because the toilet overflowed. The manager sent maintenance to the room while we ate breakfast, when we returned to the room we noticed they left the door open with our belongings inside. Purses, jewelry, and luggage. Very disappointed

Room felt small. They didn't really provide us with like but one towel for some reason the ac kept kicking back up to 73 even if we set it to 70

There is nothing that we didn't like. It is far from the city centre so it is a better option for people that are working nearby as opposed to tourists hoping to see the sights.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the bed was comfy. There is lots of parking and it is well lit at night so it felt safe. The breakfast bar had many delicious options.

The location is a little way out from Downtown: 11 miles. Then saying this only took us 15 or so minutes to drive as straight down the interstate and you are there.

Such friendly staff at reception. Breakfast was better than most of the equivalent hotels in the region with rather more choice - love those waffle makers! Room spacious and good air con (believe me, absolutely essential anywhere in Texas in summer!) Good value for money. You could pay a lot lot more in Austin - it's a thriving, expanding city and downtown hotels do not come cheap.

I didn't have any issues. I did not have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that.

I was concerned that there would be a problem with road noise but either I was too tired to notice or it wasn't a problem. Beds were comfortable and room was a good size. Was easy to get to and from St David's hospital.

There was not hand soap but hand lotion instead. The pillows were very soft and not supportive for my neck, I had to stack three to get any decent sleep. At the time, the key card machine was not working and there were only a select few key cards active. The staff had to take me and others up to our room every time. On top of that there usually weren't enough staff to monitor front desk and take us to our rooms at the same time. At one point I saw only 1 staff taking calls and checking in 3 people at once while 5 of us were waiting to be taken up. I personally did not mind being taken up and understand that it wasn't a situation the staff were control of, they were doing they're best, but I would prefer that there was a backup card for every room or a backup machine if this ever happened again.

The room was small and to my liking. I felt that my privacy was respected. The staff were kind and friendly, especially during the situation they were in (will note in dislikes). Despite the list of dislikes I have, I really enjoyed my stay here and would come here again if I was ever staying in Austin.
