How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room had a scent like dirty work clothes or oil scented clothes. I asked for Clorox wipes at the front desk but she didn’t have any.

It could get a bit noisy with the nearby airport and interstate, but not enough to lose sleep over.

When first got there the carpet in hall was dirty but the did come vaccum. The eggs at breakfast were cold . I was there at a busy time so weren’t just sotting out. I personally like for there to be milk and half-and-half, set out for coffee and tea. Not just the individual creamer.

Apart from the Man at the reception who was friendly and checked me in quickly, I found the other 3 receptionists not so friendly
Location close to the airport and airport shuttle. 2 computers and printer in the lobby came in handy for a quick office print out and scanning I needed to do. The TV had so many cable channels to watch. In addition the microwave and fridge in the room was an added plus

Friendly attentive staff, nice breakfast, clean and accommodating. New Orleans had a water outage, and the hotel modified my reservation to accommodate, no questions asked. They are my go-to hotel for fly-ins to NOLA.

Couldn’t get on the first shuttle at 7am so ended up paying nearly the same for an Uber as I would have staying in the French Quarter which kind of defeated the purpose.

It's pretty noisy inside, you can hear every door slamming, every voice walking by, and it feels as if the people next door are actually inside the room with you.
It was just what I needed after a long flight - a clean and safe place to stay for the arrival night very close to the airport.

Upon checking in… I mentioned that we need to schedule the shuttle and the desk clerk rudely said it wasn’t going to work. There were too many scheduled already for the time we needed the next morning. I said well I would have cancelled the reservation because I had called and specifically asked how to schedule and was told request upon checkin it wouldn’t be a problem. She reluctantly said ok I have you all scheduled. Got in the shuttle with only one other hotel guest. There was still plenty of passenger space. Treated very rude. For the price of the hotel and the few hours we spent there to be at the airport for early flight we could have stayed anywhere around the area and probably had a nicer greeting. Her attitude was very rude. It is a lot to type but I did mention it upon checking out the next morning to the desk clerk that was there.
We live locally and had a super early flight. Wanted to be close by with airport shuttle. We arrived late 8 pm and left super early before breakfast service at 6 am.

Shower temp was hard to get perfect.

The breakfast was great except for the cinnamon rolls. They are usually great and I was excited to tell my sister to try them, but they were dry as though they were several days old.

Extremely bright parking lot security lights shining in window all night! HAD to use complete blackout shade (all the way down) to sleep. Air conditioning didn’t regulate- it either blasted until it was too cold or didn’t turn on.
Clean, safe, comfortable bed & furnishings, close to restaurants & shopping. Very accommodating staff. Although listing noted luggage storage, there really was none. They did hold our luggage in a meeting room, for which we were grateful. (The facet that only one door locked & the other was a barn-style door that opened to the lobby lounge had us putting “our faith in humanity” for the day. We returned to all luggage still in its place & underinsured. )

The ICE Maschine was cleaned every morning around 6 am wich was very loud and woke us up. Don't know why this could not be done later.
