Nice friendly reception, good kitchenette with ample supplies (I was pleasantly surprised), room had all I need (room8) and was opposite a nice coffee shop and very close to good pizza. Safeway is a mile away so it's easy to cook for yourself. I stayed here for 3 nights to ski and it worked out great, would stay again.

Self-checking service (it was said that reception works till 8pm, still at 5pm nobody there, only letter with instructions on self-checking), and nobody in the morning until 9 am, no adapter in the room (notebook became dead due to different sockets), very cold bathroom.

While booking I did not understand we would not get a cabin by the lake, but a room in a rowhouse on the other side of the highway. Spaceheater was stuck in the high eighties in fahrenheight and time. Furnishing is rough, cabin style.

Everything was fine

Clean, simple, ordinary rooms. Mainly picked it for the price and the location (proximity to skiing). As an aside, the reception lady told us she was giving us a lakeside room as if she was doing us some kind of favor, but really it was right next to the highway with no view of the lake. This is not a negative, as I don't care about a lake view or not, but I found it hilarious that she acted like it was an upgrade.

On our last / 3rd night, the microwave suddenly turned itself on (around 2am), and started microwaving by itself while the time ran UP - increasing by a minute every 10 seconds. It got all the way up to 17 minutes of cooking time very quickly before we could stop it. Every time we tried to turn it off, it would turn itself back on again and start microwaving. Finally we could only go back to sleep by leaving the door of the microwave open, the only way to guarantee it would not turn on again. It seems like there's something wrong with the circuit board. (We had not used the microwave at all during our stay.) Very strange, woke us up, but overall not a serious issue. If you are a light sleeper, the adjoining walls between the cabin is relatively thin. Finally, there may be a leak around the bathroom faucets, because I noticed the water around the faucet never dried out, even when we were gone for the entire day. You can see mold is starting to grow there.

Our stay here was generally pretty comfortable. We liked the location by Lake Tahoe, the spacious size of the room, the kitchenette, and the availability of a dining table and couch. The available kitchen ware was clean, and the check-in process was easy for late arrivals. The place was quite clean, and the bed was comfortable.

The one bedroom was definitely "cozy", and could use some updating. Yes, it's supposed to look and feel rustic, and it does. Bathroom is really dated and the floor was sinking. Instead of couches, there are two "day beds" which are really just twin beds. They work great as beds, but not ideal for much else. Although I'm not sure what they'd use instead that would still accommodate relatively comfortable sleeping. (I have never seen a pull out couch bed that isn't horribly uncomfortable. These were better than that at least!) Would have loved a grassy area on the forest side, and maybe fire pits? Overall, you're getting a camping/cabin experience and it's a great place. However, the summer pricing seems a bit high to me. Spring pricing was much more palatable.

Really charming little cabins with a heated pool and lots of outdoor space for kids to play, BBQ and eat at picnic tables, ping pong tables, etc. I can't speak for the lakefront rooms, but their location looks perfect. Beach is right across the street (walking distance) and has clear water & soft sand.

The big item on the list is it was advertised that all rooms had at least a partial view of the lake. ours was in the middle of the parking lot. We were looking forward to sitting on the dock or their beach at the end of the day, but that didn’t happen due to the fact it was across the highway (very busy) and we would have to drive, turn around and pull into the driveway to park and enjoy. There are 2 properties, one on the lakeside and one on the mountain side, which is where we were. Nothing was stated in the advertising of the mountain side property. We were tired and didn’t feel like fighting anymore traffic just to walk on a cold beach. the room was a little cramped, not spacious, but doable and clean. Good for a family who wants a home base to go and see the area while cutting back on costs with the kitchen.

We liked that it was quiet , couldn’t hear the neighbors next door or the traffic, plenty of parking, and a full kitchen that was well stocked with what you would need to use it. we just stayed overnight and didn’t get an opportunity to use the pool or other amenities, but nice to know they were an option. It was centrally located for our needs and the staff was friendly and helpful. They had a list prepared of all the activities and restaurants in the area which was also helpful. Bottom line, clean, well stocked for our needs and quiet.
