How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Did care for your pillow selection for sleeping.
Customer service from all staff was excellent including the front desk, housekeeping, and the lovely ladies serving breakfast. All staff took the imitative to ask if we were getting everything we needed and were friendly and kind. Also, the facility is very clean and tidy.

Room was very cold when we first arrived until the heater had warmed it up. Everything else was fine.
Very nice staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and facilities are nice.

Modern, bright and clean room. Excellent breakfast, a great plus before starting the day in Yosemite National Park. The front desk was very helpful and friendly, especially Jason (gave us a great welcome)

The only thing I didn't like was the endless supply of coffee (great), in the lobby, was too wishy-washy. Extra scoop please.
Great reception when I checked in....a little early. Accessibility facilities worked very well. It was quiet and very comfortable and clean. All very welcoming. Very good location for Yosemite.

Fire alarm going off for no reason at 5am in the morning and elevators not getting fixed before checkout even though we were told they would be fixed. So having to lug our luggage down 4 flights of stairs wasn’t fun.
Friendly staff, great continental breakfast, and over all great rooms.

The shower. Water took too long to get hot and the shower area was too narrow despite the having a big bathroom. Also the water pressure was not strong enough.

Hotel was in a good location with plenty of shops/restaurants nearby. Staff were very warm and friendly. Room was neat and clean. Breakfast was enjoyable!

First of all everyone went above and beyond for myself and my husband. Unfortunately, my husband collapsed when we arrived in our room. The staff was amazing helping by getting Fire and Medics there immediately. My husband was transported to Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno. My husband passed away on November 1,2023. I will always be very greatful for the care and concern that was given to myself and to my daughter the night/morning that this happened. I will always be greatful for the prayers and care that was given to me that night. Thank you again for all that you did for me and my family

I was charged for parking $ 10 per night which was not mentioned in booking and also when I called property after booking asking them if they was parking and they said yes but didn't mention about charging $ 10/ night , that's the only thing which was a surprise

Not much - there was no good freezer for those needing to refreeze ice packs.
Squeaky clean hotel room with a pleasant view. The breakfast, for such a chain hotel, was quite good. Staff was absolutely excellent. Great decor as well!

Reception transferred a call to our room and it was a scam to get our credit card info. The entire situation made us wonder how the scam call knew we wanted to stay an extra night.

Front desk told us they don’t have one extra comforter when I insist since our comforter has stain she called a housekeeper and there was one available. I believe she was to lazy to look for and wanted us leave without “fight”. Bathroom could be nicer, breakfast area way too small for hotel, you need to pay $10 per night for parking.
