Having breakfast (paid or complimentary) would be great. Hotel Havana should rethink its “pet policy”. We had someone on the floor above us with a dog that barked a lot during the night. Slept very poorly.

Staff was great. Location is good.

The suite was close to the restaurant, the reception desk and the staircase so it was quite noisy at times.

We loved the interior, the bed was comfortable and we even got a free room upgrade. The staff was lovely.

Restaurant was only open for dinner. No restaurants were within walking distance. The hotel is on the river walk, but not close to any of the restaurants. Restaurant was mostly unavailable due to private party one night. A/C in room blew onto bed.

Authentic older hotel. Wonderful staff. Great coffee available in the lobby. Close to Alamo and Pearl district.

I'd sent a message asking about parking rates. No reply. And then I got all tehese check-in reminders that have you check boxes about liability and extra fees and such - it felt like they expected their guests to be belligerent criminals. The staff were actually quite friendly though

It's on a less, busy more pleasant part of the River Walk, 12 minutes from the Alamo. The rooms are arranged elegantly in a historic building with some funky touches an orange Smeg fridges, brightly upholstered arm chairs, They have actual keys, not the generic sterility of some big hotel chains

Historic Hotel with nice staff that lacks modern conveniences.

The second room of our 2 room suite was a former balcony and it wasn't furnished well. It would have been nice to have two chairs for relaxing together as it was with only one comfy chair the other person had to stand in the room to chat. The dresser in room 23 should be taken to the trash it is junk, the top was raw wood and the drawers stuck. There wasn't any art in the room. The large mirror was on the back of the tiny bathroom door. There should be a second mirror in the room, There wasn't a place to put my makeup in the bathroom and there wasn't a small dressing table to use. The room was pink even the ceiling and with low light. Our last day I didn't even put on make up I figured I would do that in the car. The is rustic not luxury,

Quit historic hotel. The hotel wasn't very close to the main part of the riverwalk but it was easy enough to get there. The building is beautiful. I expected more. The bathroom was low light and I couldn't put on my make up.

This is an older property so dated which was fine for us but others should be aware. I did miss not having coffee available in the room or in the afternoon in a general location. The morning coffee provided was great.

Small room and not much sound proof. There were only stairs available to enter the building from the parking lot so handling heavy luggage was not so easy (inside the hotel there is an elevator). There was no breakfast available in the hotel, only coffee.

Really central location, walking distance from the center. Quite clean room as well and the stuff was friendly.

The bed is quite squeaky, if you move around a lot in your sleep. Our room also had a noisy fan that we were unable to turn off. That unfortunately hindered us from getting a great nights sleep, even though we really enjoyed our stay. There is free coffee in the mornings and many places to get breakfast in the area.

The Hotel is truly beautiful and charming. The staff was very friendly, parking is cheaper than most other hotels in San Antonio. Above all, this is not one of the big chains and it shows in the uniqueness of the rooms (e.g. nice bathrobes, fully stocked fridge/minibar, beautiful decor). It’s located very conveniently on the river walk, just a short walk from the center and far enough away to be quiet.

The smell of sewage, shower head was super low, and the water temperature was hard to manage. It was either super hot or super cold. The road noise was very loud in the evening.

The property was unique and had an interesting history. Loved all the wood floors, banisters, and exposed brick. The staff were friendly and helpful as well as the welcome book in the room. The bed was comfortable. The location to get on the river walk was convenient.

Honestly nothing needs to be improved, I liked the vibe as it is. If I have to find a little detail, the room was a bit noisy with the AC and the retro designed fridge.

Hotel is well situated, walking distance from everywhere downtown or the riverwalk. Hotel has a nice vibe, rooms are cool with all the necessary amenities. If what you are looking for is a standard big chain type hotel, don't go there.

Because the hotel was older, some of the features were tattered. Elevators were a little dirty. Nothing to the point of distraction. The hold on the room for incidentals was the highest I had seen. There was actually too much in the fridge (didn't leave any space for your personal left overs).

Loved that it was a historic property and so close to the tourist areas without being in the noisy areas. It was very conveniently located close to the most popular areas. The room features looked old but were VERY comfortable. LOVED the pink fridge!

Love the old building/architecture. They accept dogs, going so far as to provide a dog bed and water/food bowls. It’s right on the river walk. And even though it’s near downtown it was quiet.
