Pools were always packed, parking too far from the hotel, dvd rental not good quality, overall this hotel is super overpriced for the amenities you get.

Check-in line was over an hour long, which is the longest I've ever had to wait to check into a hotel and especially painful when you have little kids standing around in the heat. There must be a more efficient way to do this for how many people check-in/out every day! 2 out of the 4 elevators for our tower were not working, so the elevator line was ALWAYS long and slow with lots of people aggressively pushing into them because they didn't want to wait anymore, or some would just ride the elevator going the opposite direction to ensure they had a spot in the elevator. I don't have a solution for this one but it was generally always unpleasant having to deal with the elevators every time we went back to our hotel room, and since we were on the 30th floor, stairs were not an option. Would have loved to have the Paradise pool open up more of their slides during the day to be more fully utilized for the kids. Pools probably need to be cleaned more often for how many people are in them; lots of sand, floating stuff, hair, band-aids, etc. towards the end of the day.

Very large property right in the middle of Waikiki with front row seats to the Friday night fireworks. Lots of pool and beach options (we checked out 4 out of the 5 pools and both the beach and the lagoon, all of which were good.) Many food options, though FYI most of them were overpriced and not fantastic, mostly touristy quick bites. Also lots of places to wander and shop (but also pricey). Room was clean, appreciated the partial ocean view and the extra things that were promptly sent up when requested. Some noise from the hallways since we were close to the elevators, but never to the point of having to make a complaint or wear earplugs.

We had booked an ocean front view room at the Rainbow building,but we had to check in early because we have reservations for the Luau at the North Shore right at 5 pm ,by check-in early the fee is $75 plus tax,got the room on 6th floor, our room doesn't feel like ocean front views because on the left side on balcony overlooking to on top another building roof top .it's unpleasantly viewed and not pretty .My bed sheets weren't changed ,the plastic bag for the ice container wasn't changed, and the bathroom door was too heavy to open and close,no water or something in the lobby for a long waiting to check in and out ,

The room was spacious however for a newly renovated room and the price, the furniture was old, the bathroom is outdated with no window. We didn’t have hot water one of the mornings so had a cold shower at 5am before going on a tour, very unpleasant. The coffee machine wasn’t working and had to be replaced.

Proximity to the beach, various pools, village with the bakery and ice cream vendor, friendliness and courtesy of the staff, grounds of the resort were clean and absolutely beautiful

Everything was nearby and in walking distance. Even some excursions were in walking distance. A beautiful area and beaches. I would definitely stay in that area again.

The mattress in the room was definitely older as it sank in a lot. Tapa Towers elevators were very slow and always packed creating long waits. Parking in the garage was kinda pricey.

Everything was great. Clean rooms and area. Staff was very helpful. The location and events were good. Fireworks were a great ending to our week stay!

The room is laking renovation. It felt 30y old inside. Outlets on the lamps were not working so I had to use my own outlet extension. Everyone has multiple electronic devices today and rooms are still lacking USB outlets for charging. The balcony had a great view but often times I felt that someone was smoking and the smoke was getting to us. Self parking was more expensive then I thought ~$60 per day.

Location is probably the biggest value. It's right next to the beach, and many shops and restaurant are in walking distance. The view from the room is awesome. The staff was always friendly and ready to accommodate our stay.

Check in took an hour due to a long line. Felt like an airport! Really poor first impression. Also, pools so crowded we couldn’t even find a seat near them. Overall, too crowded and busy for our taste.

For the price, room amenities few…get more in a comfort inn for way less money. (ie. no microwave, wonky coffee maker which often overflowed even on 2 cup setting, one short towel rack which left towels draped over closet doors and chair backs).

The hotel was amazing and the convenience stores were very accommodating. Everything was within walking distance! Hotel was beachfront and pools were easy to access too!
