My room was a bit chilly, and I could not seem to get the heater/cooler/fan to work. I am not sure if I could control it anyway, but it would have been nice if I could have, even just for 5 degrees more. I know the weekend of my stay was an unusually chilly weekend for Midland.

I liked the view from my window, and the room was nicely laid out. The shower was nice and hot, and amenities were great. I kept the do not disturb hanger on my doorknob for my stay, and none of my items were moved, so it was nice that my privacy was respected.

One of the main elevators was undergoing renovation (I think). Also, the internet was spotty - apparently, I was not the only one who noticed. There was no good answer from the staff.

It was a located LITERALLY directly across the street from the Bush Conference Center where I was conducting training. So it was very convenient.

would not extend my check out time. I worked night and wanted to extend my check out time. I was told the Management would not allow it. Every time I come to Midland is book here and I guess it doesn’t matter for a return customer

We were told it was a Comp breakfast as well as different restaurants in the hotel. We got the complimentary breakfast one morning then was charged $17 for each person. 🥴 I paid it and went on with life but if they would have told me when I checked in I would have ordered form the restaurant instead.

They had very friendly staff when you checked in or saw around the hotel! loved the double shower heads in the shower & the balcony view! (don’t know how we got it but it was nice) beds & pillows were comfortable!

The hotel is just older and has obviously not been updated recently. It is not in an area with a lot of demand so it is understandable but we have stayed here twice in 3 months and the revolving front door has never worked. The first stay they had no hot water and both stays at least one if not more elevators did not work.

The location was key for us and the hotel is perfectly located right in downtown and close to restaurants and our family. Staff is always very friendly.

The bathroom did not have a counter and the shower did not work well. The hot water was out which the staff did communicate well.

We did not choose to pay for the breakfast. The hot water was out and the staff was wonderful about trying to make it Ok and offering a refund but we stayed where we did specifically for the location so changing hotels was not an option. Our room was fine but the bathroom had no counter and overall the hotel was just warn and outdated. But staff was wonderful and the location was great!!!

Hotel was a little tired, showing some signs of wear and age.

Right in downtown Midland, easy walking distance to restaurants. Initially, we were given a room that was directly above a very loud party. We asked to be moved a more quiet room. Best nights sleep since leaving home. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

This place is very dated. Rooms are pretty beat up my bathroom sink faucet was broken. They only had one working elevator for a 10 story hotel which made it a challenge to get to your room.

The room was very humid. I changed the temp a few times but it stayed feeling humid. Check out was at noon which was great but housekeeping was knocking at my door at 9am. I think the day when the people are checking out housekeeping should wait until they check out to try and go into to clean the room.
