Concierge lied about showing us the property at Hilton Village resort, it turned out to be a 2hrs presentation for selling Hilton’s private club membership! Staff should be honest about their intentions instead of lying about it!

Booking.com failed to inform the hotel that we had paid for breakfast, this took an email to booking.com and 24 hours to resolve. The breakfast was not worth the money, the food was poor. The reception staff were the grumpiest ladies that I have ever met.

The room was always well cleaned. The communal areas never seemed to be cleaned, the hallway on floor 33 had the same dirt piles for the ten days we were there.

The carpets smelled. The staff didn’t accommodate me having a child. Didn’t have a pack and play. Gave me a hotel closest to an elevator so every time people got off the elevator opened with people coming out being loud, it would wake my child. Could not open my balcony because it smelled like cigarettes. You have to pay resort fees and all it seems like you get us dvds to rent and water stations.

The pool was nice.

Excellent location as it was very close to many places, beautiful views, quiet and very comfortable. Having an electric kettle in the rooms was a wonderful added bonus.

Only thing we felt we needed sometimes were amenities like napkins, a microwave, but we knew the hotel didn’t offer those beforehand so not really a problem.

Morning receptionist and employees to help with activities were extremely nice and pleasant and all had smiles! Even the bartender at the pool was very very nice. I have nothing but positive things to say about the employees. Pool restrooms were clean, our room was clean. Everything pleasant!

I was out in the 5th floor where the common areas didn’t seem as clean/kept as other parts of the hotel.

Pool was much smaller than expected and they had construction scheduled which was not mentioned at check in. Management decided to also close the jacuzzi which was more disappointing.

Our bathroom flooded 3 nights in a row from the AC unit with water pouring out if the roof. Staff sent someone up each time but it wasn't fixed, took a bit of prompting to be moved

The hotel receptionists were very rude and not attentive. I arrived from a long trip with a 17-hour flight and when checking in they wanted to charge me a completely different amount than what was stated in the booking reservation. I complained, called the manager and after a LOT of conversation they explained that it would be necessary to block the card for an amount of 40% above the reservation as a guarantee. And the explanation was very rude, without at any point worrying about the guest, seeming like they were doing me a favor. When checking in, they did not provide any information about the cleanliness of the rooms. If you don't call reception to ask for cleaning a day before, your room will not be cleaned. When checking out, I got the same problem with the amount charged (it was different from the booking amount). I had to contest again. Therefore, be careful about leaving the payment on the card automatically. In short, I found the service at reception to be terrible.

There was no maid service to take out trash, clean room or change out towel. You had to call the front desk to get clean towels or pick up trash.

The property was decent and had a place to eat and happy hour in the evening.
