Further away from Yosemite than indicated - approx 1.15hrs to Yosemite Valley Visitors Centre. Bed was propped up with blocks & sagged a bit in the middle.

Quiet location & there were deer on the lawn in the mornings. Good facilities and lots of room. Would be great for a family.

Kitchen was poorly kitted out. As a European traveller, I expect a welcome pack or at least a pint of milk, oil and salt and pepper to be provided. It was hard to self cater for the two days we were there due to this. The charge to be on the complex is also annoying. Do t really understand why it’s not incorporated in the price per night

1. We were not told about the $46 gate fee until a few days prior to our visit. This should have been revealed at booking. 2. The directions to go to the main gate to enter the property did not reach me by email until 2 days after our arrival. We went to the address given for the home and had to back track to the main gate before we could enter. 3. The door lock has a key pad with a 10-digit code. We found it very frustrating to work. We spent over 30 minutes on line with the management company (Vacasa) sorting out the steps to make it work. These specific directions also did not reach me by email until 2 days after arrival. I had asked that the code and directions be sent to me a day before I left home because of the unreliability of internet while I was traveling. Not having clear directions made the beginning of our stay troublesome. 4. Two bedrooms had king or queen beds which were comfortable. The third bedroom had a double bed with bunk attached. The bunk bed ladder and support posts made it very difficult to climb into the double bed. This may have worked okay for a child, but not for an adult. Also, when in bed, there was no light for reading. 5. The kitchen was well stocked, but a small salt and pepper would have been very helpful.

Additional fee 46 USD for entrance to the resort wchich was not know while booking. It was announced later when there was possibility to cancel it. The fee should be included in the price. The chalet can be difficult to find in the resort - GPS does not work properly there - ask immediatelly at the gate for proper direction.

Fully equipped and nicely furnished chalet in natural environment. Comfortable beds. Convinient distance to Yosemite NP - 1:15 hours. I would definitelly book again.

We had a bit of an issue with the door codes being sent to us - we were stuck outside the door for some time until we got them sent across, thankfully Vacasa who the chalet is covered by, we’re on hand to help very quickly! So just ensure you have the door code in email before arriving - as ours just said CODE: ‘smart code’ - but in that area should have been an actual code, which we later got. Not a big issue thanks to the speedy replies from Vacasa.

Absolutely gorgeous chalet! Really loved it - there was so much wildlife surrounding, deers, squirrels & turkeys just passing through the garden all day long. Absolutely lovely to see! Whole place was spotless & so cosy. Perfect location to visit Yosemite National Park. 30 mins away via the 120 highway - however when we were there this highway was closed so was had to use the 140 to the National Park which was 2 hours. We didn’t mind - but just so you know it’s possible to have a 2 hour drive there due to road closures which of course is no one’s fault. Lovely scenes all the way there! Shops & restaurants nearby to the chalet (5 mins drive ish).

The guest house did not meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness. The bed linen provided was not only dirty but emitted an unbearable odor that made it impossible to rest comfortably. Moreover, the level of cleanliness throughout the room was severely lacking. The floor, fan lamp, and windows were covered in thick layers of dust, creating an unhealthy and unappealing environment. This negligence in maintaining a clean living space not only affected the aesthetics but also raised concerns about the overall sanitation and upkeep of the guest house. The towels provided were in a deplorable state, marked with stains and black hairs. This not only compromised my comfort but also caused significant inconvenience and distress during my stay. Furthermore, when we reported these issues to the support staff, they offered to send a local team for cleaning. However, no one showed up, leaving us with unresolved concerns throughout our stay. And there was no water in one of the bathrooms. Adding to the disappointment was the misinformation provided by the guest house before our check-in. We specifically inquired about the availability of kitchen dishes and utensils, to which we were told that none were provided, requiring us to bring our own supplies. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the kitchen was fully equipped with caps, glasses, forks, knives, spoons, and plates. This miscommunication and inconsistency in the information provided not only caused unnecessary inconvenience but also created an addition burden for us, as we had brought unnecessary items with us. Most frustrating of all is the fact that the cost of cleaning was included in the overall cost of the accommodation. However, I found it disheartening that I did not witness any evidence of the cleaning service during my stay. Paying for a service that was not delivered raises serious concerns about transparency and fair pricing.

the coded entry was a side door not lit at night and was hard to find. The property is listed as 4 bedrooms its plenty of space but its a 3 bedroom home.
