We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesLittle things like assigning a room and someone was already in that room. No local channels on the tv and no one knew why or how to find. Then finally when returned from a night out , the elevator was broken and had to climb stairs to the top floor .

United StatesOn weekends this hotel is booked by quite a few travelling baseball/softball teams. It would be nice if the breakfast could start a bit earlier. There are always several teams who have to be at the fields at 7am, which means leaving at 6:30 am, which means the kids miss out on breakfast. It would be a super nice add on to open it earlier during those times.
All was as expected. The front desk employees were very nice.

Got there at check in time and was given a key. Got to the room and it had not been cleaned at all in fact cleaning staff was at other end of the hall still. Went to get another room and desk staff told me I have to understand that they have been booked solid and are under staffed. They then told me that the cleaning crew was in my room and it would be ready in 20-30 minutes. A lie since I was just there and no one was near my room. A. It’s not my fault that you are two tight to hire enough workers or pay them a living wage. B. After 3:00 you are taking time away from me that I payed for. C. I am in town for work and your inadequate performance if causing me to be late. Finial they found me a tiny little handicap to stay in but I had to ask them to reimburse the extra that I had paid for a nice room.

United StatesI booked my room online 3 weeks in advance. When I arrived to check in the total was $40 more than my booking price. After showing my confirmation to the staff member he did adjust my price back to my confirmation amount. I go upstairs to room 215 just to find out this was a double queen room, I booked a king room. I go back down stairs to inform the attendant. He tells me that it must have been a system error. I show him my confirmation again, just to clarify. He tells me the only thing he can do is upgrade me to a king suit room for the same price. I asked to see the room, just to realize this was not a suit it was simply a bigger room only because it was their handicap room. I told the attendant that I didn't want that because I needed more counter space in the restroom. He explained that the counter space was the exact same in every room, which was a lie. I ask the attendant if there was anymore king rooms that I could switch to, he told me that the entire hotel was booked for the night because it was their busy season. Because it was so last minute and I had an event to get dressed for I had no time to find another hotel. I just settled for something I did not want. The attendant did not offer me a discount or points or anything at all for my inconvenience. Also the lighting in the restroom was horrible because a few light bulbs were out, for a woman that's a major issue when getting dressed. Most likely I will not be back.
