They act like they wanna work with you but if one incident happens even if it was out of your control they will evict you or not let you extend your stay. They have roaches in there rooms and the bed frames were absolutely chewed up from previous animals and they don’t seem to care about changing them out instead they have people here installing gutters lol. They seem to care more about the outside than the inside. There are a lot of drug activity and people laying around in the halls during the night time. The room we checked into the toilet stopped working a few flushes in. We also had to clean our own bathtub because it wasn’t clean due to black marks and previous smokers. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you absolutely have no choice and need to save money. I book online and it says 75$ a room but I’m easily charged 86 almost 90 later and that’s daily. Cheap but expensive. They also will try to sell you 5 star reviews. They told me if I gave them a 5 star review they would discount my room 10$ lol but never did. Other than that, 75$ pet fee. Some rooms have more than 3 dogs and it’s actually against there rules but management seems to have there pick of favors they will let get away with stuff. Oh one last thing. The elevator will give you little heart attacks as it makes disastrous noise on the way up and down. Good luck.

Studio 6 more like motel 1, why did I come alone just to find out that I laid down with a cockroach. Then I saw a spider in the bathroom. Told front desk they said they will spray more, I shouldnt have paid a dime i paid to be alone not have roaches room with me for the night.

The noise level from the hallway was extremely high. I don't think the price reflected the amount of noise from the Reconstruction was fair.

because it's an extended stay the entrance is treated like a front porch. The AC wall unit while it worked properly, you could see outside which means bugs can get in.

The air was either not on or not working. The clasp to the frame of the bed came off or loose, maintenance put the çlasp back on and it came undone again.

The hotel was in a very convenient area for places to go. Close to family and restaurants.

The check-in was nightmarish!! Three.. count em 3 clerks at the desk and no organization. We were supposed to be able to check in by 3pm but was delayed.. got there around 6pm and had to wait over an hour for rooms to be ready only to hear "well, they've got to wait" from whomever was getting our rooms straight; nevermind that our event had already begun and that we had already given them an hour! . Didn't get the rooms I had selected and over heard one clerk tell another that anyone else who has a reservation is out of luck we're booked!! I booked weeks in advance.. no one has time for this mess! And I wish I had taken pictures of this unfinished room.. no doors on lower cabinets, no t.v. in one room and one that just didn't work in the other. And kitchenette.. for what?! Not one fork, spoon, glass, plate, pot or pan.. I was mislead! Oh and no light bulbs in either bedside wall lamp. When I called the front desk no answer and I guess after a certain time a metal partition comes down over the check-in window, its like you're on your own!!

I can tell this "used to be" a nice place. Outside of the property very nicely kept.

I prebooked using booking.com. I called a few days ahead to make sure everything was good with having a smoking room. They said sure no problem they see it on their screen. I got there and my smoking room was not available (same issue before with the same place, but different management with the same results). After some waiting another room was found, but before I could go up housekeeping informed the front desk bathroom started flooding. So about an hour after getting there a room was finally found for me to stay in. And when I got in the room there were no towels at all in the room, the bathroom light/fan was making a crazy sound like it was about to come out the ceiling and there was no remote for the TV. Manually changing channels in 2023 is crazy. By that point no need to deal with the front desk. Luckily I always take everything with me when I go out of town.

Toilet paper...it wasn't the cheapest kind I usually see in hotels. There were hangers in the closet.

Basically you get the bare minimum of conveniences. Pro-security on property. Con-he was louder than guests in the middle of the night while we're trying to sleep. He was right outside our door talking loudly to anyone that came in the lobby.

WaThe staff in the morning was very nasty and horrible to me over a $43.50 which was given once a card was unblocked. They treated me as if I was a "free loader. " They were Very nasty!! It was not necessary. They were not patient, and a nightmare. I pay.

Very nice affordable. However staff was very picky and treated me very horribly -- over $43.50 --- which I would pay in the evening. (Card was just blocked!!!) They were horrible!!!

This is the worst experience I have had at this hotel. Prior to COVID Pandemic, I never had a problem with bugs or the facilities being clean. This time was horrible. The first room I was given had roaches. I reported that - they reassigned me to another room and once again that room had roaches. I went to the Walmart and bought bug spray to spray the room down the next day. The Saturday night, the staff member used her card & just opened the room door without knocking on the door while I was sleep, stating she didn't know the room was occupied. Then at 3:00 am Sunday morning, someone else tried to get in my room with a pass card, but because I had the double lock on the door the couldn't get in. 2 minutes after that someone else tried the same thing. This time I asked who is it and a man replied it's the front desk. I said the room is occupied and he left. I got dressed and went to the front desk and let the man know he reassigned me to that room and that's the third time someone attempted to get in the room that I paid for. The first time was the staff member. Then CHECKOUT Day Sunday, I go to the front desk and request to speak to the manager and he wasn't there. I was told that he would be given the message that I had left with the front desk. I have not received a call. My second incident, I arrived at this hotel late FRIDAY night. the next day Saturday - when I went to the WALMART and returned to the hotel, I noticed a small sign that said 10% discount for AARP members. I ask the receptionist that was at the front desk about the discount and she said you can get it on your next visit. I questioned why it couldn't be adjusted now and she replied, because I already check in. I told her I should have been asked when I arrived at the hotel and she said, "we don't do that here. When military people call and book they ask about the discount".

The location is a good location to get from the hotel to the beach and surrounding attractions.
