My name is Wen. On March 30st, I forgot retrieve my ID at this hotel when l checked out .Thanks to them for faxed a copy of my ID to the next hotel where I checked in the next day, and promising to send my ID card to my home address. The Postage is paid for by me. But 10 days have passed and I haven't received it. If they are too busy to send my ID back, I hope they will send me a photo of the sealed ID in the mail to make a sure that I don't have to worry about the security of my identity in the future. I hope I can get their response, it's my fault for forgetting the ID. I had to apply for a new ID.

Everything in the room worked ok, but the place could stand a facelift. Some paint here and there would be good, and the bathroom tub had lots of ancient cigarette burns around the edge.

In a quiet location and the staff was helpful in recommending local restaurants and activities. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good.

There was Zero Electricity to the room when I arrived. Apparently there had been a storm two days before my arrival that knocked out the electricity. The hotel knew this, and did not check my room. I did not turn on the television on Saturday night. I Wanted to watch a Sunday morning news program in the morning. NO TELEVISION. Completely Dead. Perhaps the Storm Knocked the television OUT?? I feel that the front desk guy should have checked the television when he reset the breakers. The breakfast was Sausages. Or, I could have made a waffle or eaten cold cereal. I did like that they had apples.

They accommodated my request for a ground floor room non smoking room.

The first room was a non smoking room but reaked of tabocco use. The continental breakfast was small and very limited selection. However the clerk when asked, sent me to the buscuit barn and that was incredible, thank you and you were right, prob the best breakfast in crystal river.

They changed our room because it smelled like cigarettes and it was a non smoking room. There were cigarette burns on the tub. The clerk was apologetic and gave us a free upgrade to a king bed. She also came to the new room to make sure it met our expectations. It did.

I can only find a couple of small minor faults with this place. There needs to be more variety in the vending machine and the location is a little out of town, which makes it a little tricky if you don't have a car.

I've been travelling the States for a few weeks now and this is only the second place that has had the hot water hot enough for how I like my showers. I loved that I finally got a steamy shower! The bed was comfortable and it was quiet, which made falling asleep no problem. The staff helped me by finding more businesses when I had trouble finding a taxi that was available for a morning pick up. Their help meant I was able to get to my early morning tour. I definitely would recommend this hotel.
