The rooms were either too bright or too dark there was no middle ground... From what I thought I saw in pictures I expected the room to be much bigger than it really was however it was perfect for what we needed it for... As far as the internet and cable goes well that was a non-existent thing we literally had two channels in our room and the internet was not an actual working thing for us I guess we tried and tried many times but..

The location is perfect.. your a block away from all the bars if that's your scene... The game room was cozy and perfect for entertaining my teen and almost teen kids.. their were so many kids that mine hung out with at the pool... The safest I could ever feel with the police stations across the street from us

The motel, and our room, were run-down. But it looked like remodeling was being done. The small couch, in our room, was useless, as it was so very uncomfortable and dirty.

We stayed here for the downtown location and because we'd be able to walk to The Meyer Theater.

A very big attraction was the pool atrium area; however, the pool water was green and cloudy. It should be blue and clear. We didn’t use the pool as a result, but we used the hot tub(the water was blue and clear in there). Also, the pool area closed before 9:30 pm, way too early.

Very disappointed that the pool hours weren't posted and we're so limited. Closing the pool 9pm-9am is very disappointing. Parking is also a nightmare.

The breakfast was very good. There were a number of choices however dairy/gluten free options were few (l understand it's a small # but those folks are important too). If my dairy free daughter had come, she would have been limited to toast with jelly, fruit and sausage - not very appetizing when everyone else also has scrambled eggs, waffles, yogurts and cold cereal to choose from.

Smell of the room. Very perfumy. I have asthma and that irritated my lungs. Too much spray makes me feel as if they are hiding some sort of bad smell. Not everyone likes or can tolerate that much perfume.

The beds could be softer. I'm not a fan of firm beds. And the toilet paper is so thin you can see through it.

The breakfast is great. They switch up the options on different days. Like, biscuits and gravy are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sunday they have potatoes. We enjoy the breakfast options. Would be nice if they added bacon. The pool is nice and even has a section that goes 7 ft deep. The hot tub is nice and hot. There is even a smaller kiddy pool a game room is available that needs a game card you can reload. And there is also a small gym that consists of a treadmill and stationary bike. There are no actual weights.

The pools seemed like they could have used a good scrubbing/cleaning and maintenance. Some tiles were missing, there was some algae growing in the corners here and there.

Hard floors in the room were a welcome change versus carpet. Kiddos can be messy and it was easier to clean up and pick up that way. Also the availability of the shallower pool was great to take at the two-year-old in so they could splash around.

First day shower would drain while showering. Complained to desk about shower and it was fixed right away. Coffee pot did not work. Breakfast was good but would be great if they added bacon or sausage.

The ol' place is definitely dated, but with the decline of downtown Green Bay, I understand the difficulties the motel has been through. Hopefully, with the “comeback” starting for downtown, the “old Downtowner” will come back. Please continue updating and modernizing this property.

I have a family history with the “Downtowner”. My family stayed here when I was a kid (50 years ago), and I have fond memories of those stays. We will return. The breakfast was good, adequate for our needs. We didn’t use the pool, but it appeared clean and well-taken-care of.

The room had a weird loud humming rumble sound from time to time. I believe it was from older pipes. I brought it to the attention of the workers there but there was no solution given, no discount or upgrade offered. There were also holes in the cushions of the love seat in the room.

The location, we were in town for a show at The Meyer Theatre so it was a convenient to be able to walk down the street.

There was a intermittent low pitched grinding sound that we called the front desk about but of course when they came down to attempt to identify what it could be the sound didn't occur. Later on when it did reoccur it was when I was using our sink so I am wondering if it could be the pipes causing the sound. Also when looking around the room it was noted there was a small burn hole on the seat of the loveseat in the room and the attached back cushions both had tears in the top corners as though someone had pulled at the seams and opened them up on accident. The bed/frame is no heavy and the floor doesn't have any carpet so when getting into bed one had to be careful not to make the bed slide away. Other than that it was quite comfortable.

We were in town for a show and the theatre is only two blocks down the street so that made this location very convenient. We didn't have to pay for additional parking We just walked. The hot breakfast in the morning was a nice touch and definitely better than just plane cold Bakery items and fruit.

Building needs a lot of improvement's, besides just paint and flooring. Pool was chilly could be warmer. Don't use cards for video games their very hard for children on how to use them. Go back to just using a quarter.

The employees were great !! The location was good. Pool area was very large area.
