How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Three things for improvement are that (1) my coffee pods did not fit my coffee maker, (2) non-slip strips had been removed from the tub and left it more slippery than a regular tub, and (3) the fridge needed to be defrosted. Ice packs for my medications froze to the ice block, and water dripped into my food. One thing that is just a fact of the place is that some rooms face the freeway. I slept with earplugs and it was fine. People inside the property were not noisy at all.
Staff were really helpful and willing to make sightseeing and food recommendations. The property was clean, safe, and the beds were comfortable. The other guests and their children were not disruptive. The breakfast was better than average though lacking in fresh fruit. AC was solid.

Cigarette butts at front entrance The astray is on top of the outdoor garbage bin but is not visible enough. More people would use it if they could see it. Maybe try some humor in the signage. People will pay more attention if you can make them laugh.

Facilities need updating. Wallpaper in bathroom was peeling. Railing in the elevator came loose when touched.

Undisclosed $100 deposit not mentioned on Booking.com at all; I did get my credit back a week later, but this could be a nasty surprise for anyone traveling on a very tight budget

The continental breakfast selection didn't really have vegan or pescatarian selection.

The tubs need updating, and there was no third floor ice machine.
The staff is always friendly and helpful, especially Mrs Latoya at the front desk. Breakfast is good and the beds are comfortable.

I was disappointed the the breakfast had biscuits but no gravy.
The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful. The room was clean. The property was well maintained…..however, the swimming pool was a little green (even though we didn’t use it).

Shower area needs some work. Breakfast was okay. Fantastic biscuits but no knives to spread jelly/butter or cut the biscuits or waffles. Water in bathroom was rusty colt first turning it on but only a few seconds.
The beds were good. Nice shower. Nice television. Quiet. Breakfast provided. Traveling through good choice. Our 2nd stay here traveling

The only issue we had is that they charged an additional 100.00 for incidentals, yet on booking it says 25.00. And there isn't any where on the receipt that says the 100.00 will be returned. Receptionist stated she sId it would and that should suffice.

When we checked in, there was too much scent sprayed in the room. The eggs and sausages were completely gone 20 minutes before 9 a.m.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned very well - hairs in the shower and pink stuff on the sink. The door to the room was also really hard to get open.
For the price, this place was great. Decent breakfast and really comfy beds. 10 minute drive from downtown museums/restaurants.
