Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesUpon arrival, the minifridge was not plugged in and thus not cold, and the heat was off and the room was quite cool and took nearly an hour to get to a reasonably warm temperature. A lamp in the room did not appear to be working. It would be nice if they added a suitcase stand and a nightlight.
They had a very pleasant & helpful night receptionist. The room seemed clean. The water in the shower was plentiful and hot. The bed was comfortable. I felt safe & secure.

United StatesThe room we stayed in smelled bad. It smelled like urine and was strong enough that one of us actually got woken up by the smell multiple times. Additionally, there was built-up dirt and grime along the baseboards. The bath mat was stained and discolored. There were stains and scratches on the bathtub and toilet seat.
We appreciated being able to have our dog with us in the room, for a small fee. We also appreciated being able to easily confirm a pet-friendly room over the phone.

United StatesThe dead bolt didn't work- it was always sticking out. We had to reach inside the door to keep it open to shut the door. We asked twice to have them fix it, but it didn't get fixed the two days we were there. The bathroom showed it's age.
No breakfast, but did like that we had a fridge and microwave. The remote didn't work on the TV, but they came and fixed it right away.

United StatesUpon arrival, the parking lot is full of transients/homeless people. It’s 7:00 on a Friday night and a biker gang is having a party that lasted the entire weekend… to gain access to our room (adjacent building and 2nd floor) we are greated by 2 people sitting in the “common area” (old dirty park table), the gentleman has no shirt and no shoes or socks on. The female barely had him beat with cam only be described as a few filthy scrapes of what might have been a shirt at one time. The 1st word I hear from them is, I really hate them (N - word). Just to make sure the lady sitting 2 feet from him heard properly he raised his voice and said it again. As for the hotel itself. $311 for 2 nights is $300 too much for this dive. Room was dirty. There were unidentified stains on the sitting chairs, everything was dusty, shower looked as if someone had recently used it, oh yea, THE PLACE WAS FULL OF BUGS. DO NOT STAY HERE EVER. next time I’ll sleep in my truck before going to a place like this. Absolutely disgusting.
