Bathroom door wasn't closing properly and there was no privacy lock. Also looked like vanity was replaced with new more modern but baseboards were not added in that area. Not a big deal just an observation. Beds are squeeking and it was waking me up every time.

The room was clean. The pool and the spa were great. Very comfortable temperature and very clean.

Takeaway breakfast was a nice thought but not the healthy fuel needed to start the day.

Two restaurant options within walking distance, and downtown Pacific Grove is a short drive away. You can also walk to the beach to catch the sunset. The pool was warm, the hot tub was clean, and the staff were great.

Property needs some good maintenance. Gardens had weeds, paths covered in debris, windows and glass doors dirty, walls in rooms battered, fireplace broken. Expected more given the price paid.

Rooms were comfortable albeit requiring maintenance. Good location close to the point. Staff were lovely and breakfast on the go was great.

It’s next to a graveyard which is not ideal. Bathroom had a lot of water damage, probably because the shower door did not have a stopper or seal. Our toilette also clogged and no one was available to fix it. Front desk gave us a plunger and let us figure it out. As someone who has worked as a front desk agent at a hotel, not having a maintenance person on sight is not an excuse to help your guests.

It was convenient and in a nice pretty area.

We were in an end room and while it was quiet, there wasn't much of a view, but that was fine, because the fireplace in the room, provided ambiance. The set up of the chairs and coffee table could have been better - but it was not an issue.

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. It was also a very quite room The hot-cooked breakfast you receive when staying on the Cottage side of the street is wonderful. Very much like what you would find at an Irish B&B.

Great location to the ocean and to the town of pacific grove. The hot breakfast was really good, loved the vegetable scramble! Our room was a cottage, great vaulted ceilings.

The breakfast was poor , a bag with a apple, granola bar, and a muffin. The balcony looked like you could fall through. Bathroom was musty and the door should open out, you had to squeeze to use the toilet.

The room was clean and the fireplace worked, which made it cozy. The staff was nice. Located away from town so it is quiet.

Paint peeling in the shower and not the cleanest room I’ve stayed in. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed spending time relaxing at the fire pits.

Upgrade the beds and bed linen

Breakfast was a bag with a muffin, apple and juice, which was fine, but not needed. Just keep the coffee with some fruit out! Beds need to be replaced with an upgrade of bed linen. I think they could charge a little more and accomplish this. I like not having my room cleaned everyday at a hotel! The location was great. Parking great. Staff super nice! Quiet.

The property advertised breakfast and shows pictures of a beautiful breakfast and only passes out terrible pre packed bags with old brushed apples each time I stay. Remove he ad. It is so misleading.

Nice location, cute room, great breakfast

    • Deluxe King Room
    • Stayed 3 nights

The King suite had a very large table that took up a lot of the space. An old couch that was small and not very comfortable, and was in the far corner of the front room. We found the layout a bit odd with all the wasted space. The room really is cute, just needs a better set up. The lights were not very bright, and the window in the bedroom lacked a screen so we had to keep it shut so our dog would not jump out. I would have loved to have it open for the fresh sea air. It took a long time for the hot water to reach the bathroom. I cringed at the thought of wasting so much water just to get the hot water.

The location of the Lighthouse Inn was perfect. The hotel is 2 blocks from the beach, and in a quiet end of town. We stayed in the King Suite, which was above the office, and had a lot of windows with plantation shutters. We were in the tree line & felt we were in the tropics. The room was really cute. We paid the extra $10 per day for breakfast, which was a great value. The menu had many options. The wait-staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was really good.

Huge rooms, great location, serviceable motel

The grab'n'go breakfast was pretty poor, an apple, a granola bar and a juice, no coffee/tea making facilities, and a general rudeness from the staff. The location is good if you're driving, and really close to the sea, but if you are on foot it's quite impossible to get anywhere.

The room was incredibly spacious, huge with really tall ceilings and a little balcony. It felt like an old-fashioned motel with a few upgrades, like nicer bathroom facilities, but otherwise it was pretty serviceable and that was it. I would book again if it wasn't so expensive, with the price definitely exceeding the quality of the stay.

No room cleaning for 3 days. Asked for more towels and these were provided. The grab & go breakfast was a carb load. Apple juice, apple, nutrition bar, chocolate muffin. Better to pay the $15 per person and get a real breakfast across the street at the Lodge.

pool and hot tub warm and clean. Outside temp was 57' so really enjoyed the swim.

The patio area was a disappointment. From the picture on the website, expected the bedroom to be a bit separated from the living area.

The dining room for breakfast was really nice and enjoyed ordering from a menu. The staff was great. The fireplace in the cottage was a nice touch . Ground level was great and parking available in front of the cottage was perfect.
