VERY NOISY. The noise from the traffic was unbelievably loud. The motel is very close to the road. Our room was an odd layout. Beds were in separate rooms. Normally when we get 2 full beds me and my husband each sleep in a bed (we are so used to our king bed so fulls are small to us) so sleeping separate in 2 different rooms was odd to us. No table in the room to eat at. No microwave. The heat and hot water worked great. Toilet would run for awhile after flushing. Room service was great. We didn’t think we would have it but she cleaned up and made our beds. Got fresh towels. No hair dryer. Basically, in a nutshell the rooms are very dated. Clean but dated. You can tell the money is spent maintaining the restaurant vs the rooms.

The location to Jim Thorpe and hiking was very convenient.

Great location, very close to Jim Thorpe. Check in was smooth. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, and a great value, especially for the area. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. The staff for both for both hotel and restaurant were wonderful. Highly recommend!

That it’s attached to restaurant- makes it seem like an afterthought. I had to register at the bar. More importantly, we returned from event around 1 am only to find the key didn’t fit in the door! After great effort it finally turned and opened

The rooms are very small. The rooms are dated like very very dated. The bed made so much noise every time you would turn we were constantly waking each other up. It takes quite a while to get hot water going.

The TV didn't work and the staff that was on hand said they could not do anything about it. And it's just a little thing but it was 2 beds in 2 adjoining rooms. And the only trash can was a tiny one in bathroom.

Staff is nice. Clean room. Restaurant very good. I have stayed before and would stay again.

The unavoidable traffic noise, very loud, all night long. At 1:30 AM I looked out our window just to make sure a truck would not come crashing through our room. Also we checked out at 8:30 am but no coffee was available, the door was locked and no one was in attendance.

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff at Macaluso's were very accommodating and food was delicious. We would definitely recommend Macaluso's for fine dining. Easy access to Penns Peak. Overall good value and nice experience 👍

You could hear the people above us until 3:30 in the morning. They were so loud. I am glad they were only above us for 1 night.

The staff were very friendly and everything was very clean. The food at the restaurant was excellent. It was very close to everything.

Lighting in room by the mirror should be brighter. Didn’t see a blow dryer and no microwave.

Had issues with the TV they should supply instructions on how to use also there was no hair dryer in room but we were there for one night so not an issue, but as mentioned in other comments before we booked the road noise was loud and the room is small but works for a Jim Thorpe visit.

The location worked well a short drive to town of Jim Thorpel, having such a great restaurant at the motel was so nice the food was the best, and the staff was VERY accommodating.

Room too cool Noise isolation was lacking. Trucks passing were very loud. Chair for working at table was not great. Difficulty working at table
