The Mango Motel was being renovated. They called me the afternoon of our stay to inform me. They did find us a very nice room at one of their other properties, but I didn't need the extra stress at the time.

Hot tub at the pool water was not hot! Pool should stay open later than 8 o'clock.

The location was 10 minutes walk to boardwalk and restaurants.... Pool was nice, room and mattress were good.

Apparently this is new ownership (less than 30 days) Aside from having to change rooms ( which was due to me making last minutes arrangements) the place is located in a good area in Wildwood. Hard working management which seemed to be mostly family. (that's a good thing). All worked out fine. If needed would stay again.

Both outlets for the refrigerator did not work so there was water leaking in the freezer. The remote was only for the tv which it had a firestick and there was no remote for that and the door was very loose when closed.

The lack of heat.

The room was clean; however there was no heat and there was a lock box on the thermostat which was set to off. It was very cold and there was drafts from the outside door which the cracks in the door allowed additional air in. I was so cold had to sleep under my coat and in my clothes.

They charged me an extra $40 for my baby then when I got in my room there was no shower head in my shower ! No blankets & the kitchen was clean enough.

There was only half a roll of toilet paper for us in the hotel room, and upon arrival the monoxide detector was beeping. I called and asked for someone to come replace the battery, the man on the phone asked me to “climb up and remove it from the wall.” I’m pregnant with twins, and do not work for the motel? Lol. When someone came to “fix” the issue, they instead took the monoxide detector and fire detector completely from the room for the evening which didn’t feel very safe.

Everything the room was basically a closet. We walked in and walked right back out. The was literally a foot of space around the whole bed. If you sat on the toilet you would be touching the shower. The was a small window unit ac in the only window to the room that was maybe a foot away from a tall wood fence so no view of anything. Video camera right at the door to the room. We did not receive a refund at all.

This room is not worth $500 reasons over 10 foot bay window, no blinds, cheap curtains. It had flood lights right outside the window so the room was lit all night and day in the bathroom. The light above the mirror how to turn on my hand, turn it on and off the light ball Underneath the door there was a gap of a inch and a half there was no night table right outside my door. It was an ice machine people kept coming day and night and that’s all I could hear the bed had a metal cabinet underneath it will tell you go on and off the bed are you here it was this metal cabinet make a noise finish.

When I booked a room, it was supposed it have a full kitchen and other appliances. They didn't have a full kitchen, and more than half appliances they said we should have in the room were not in the room. When questioning them about it, they said that's how all the rooms were with the kitchen.
