The inn and staff were great. Amy, who was filling in for Linda, was incredible and treated us like friends in her home. The inn itself is in great shape, very well decorated, very comfortable, and in a great location to enable wandering around New Bern.

Truly enjoyed our stay at Meadows Inn. Perfect location for walking to all of the attractions, restaurants, shopping and the theater in the historic district of New Burn. The Inn was so nice and clean, and the owner and staff were very friendly and exceptionally nice! We will definitely stay there again.

Location is excellent. The breakfast was delicious. Linda and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The area is so close to restaurants, shops and the water. Felt so relaxing and peaceful. I have some health issues and Linda was amazing. She is a kind, friendly and compassionate person.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything that I was interested in and Linda is a gem. Her and her staff made everyone feel special. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I will be back the next time I visit New Bern.

Awesome location walking distance to restaurants, shops, riverfront park, historic sites! This Inn is a true GEM! So beautifully decorated, comfortable, homey! We felt right at home. There's a front and back porch for relaxing on beautiful days! The grounds are beautiful! Convenient off street parking on the property. Our room was regal but cozy and romantic! Bed and pillows very comfortable! The host Linda is very friendly, helpful, and an excellent chef! Breakfast was a culinary treat every day! We had to check out very early in the morning and Linda made sure we had a fresh baked bag-breakfast to take on the road...HOW SWEET WAS THAT?!!! We wished we were able to stay longer and will definitely visit again! It was a very pleasant stay in every way!

The Meadows was best of the best from the wariness of Linda, the innkeeper, to the gourmet breakfasts. All staff members were so cordial. There were beverages available free of charge and each afternoon when we came in there was a yummy treat…brownies, cookies, muffins. I was traveling with a friend and we were so impressed.

The Meadows Inn was centrally located to all my activities for the weekend. Less than a 5 min walk to the convention center. The Inn Keeper/hostess (Linda) was very pleasant and always sought to make my stay as pleasant as possible.

We were so taken care of. Linda the innkeeper/owner goes above and beyond for her guests. She makes a fabulous breakfast every morning, has a refrigerator stocked with drinks for the taking, made herself present for any questions or recommendations for the area, etc. Rooms are spacious, and very tastefully decorated. Free parking on site. Would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful 3-day getaway we had at the Meadows Inn! Linda, the owner, was the perfect hostess and her lovely inn is centrally located in the beautiful little town of New Bern. We were able to walk to all of the tourist attractions and lovely restaurants Linda so kindly recommended. Thanks for everything, Linda…especially your yummy breakfasts!
