It was so hot in our room thar we had to go purchase a fan so we could sleep. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper.

The grounds needed some work. I think that the property would have been so much more beautiful if it was better taken care of. I also didn't care for only having one roll of toilette paper in the room when we came. We ran out in the middle of the night and couldn't get any until morning.

The staff was very kind, he helped me carry my bags to the second floor. He had lots of knowledge about things to do in the area. The house and porch were very lovely. The music in the morning was also a nice touch.

Beds could be updated, they were a little soft.

Rooms and house are clean. Just minutes from South Haven and a short drive to other downtown areas. Breakfast was good and cooked to order. Rashid is a friendly and kind host.

It was located right next to where we were attending a wedding. It was easy to get to off of the freeway. The owners were so kind! They made a lovely breakfast with Morracan tea and shared the history of the manor with us.

Not a big fan of tubs , I should have read the room information more thoroughly. The room came with a beautiful claw foot tub equipped with a handheld shower head. It took a bit of adjustment but it worked fine

Was a nice one night stay. Beautiful home. They had two of the prettiest greeter. A large black cat ( blackjack) and a large tiger cat (Tiny). They were the sweetest cats. We would definitely go back.

Amazing stay! Magical, really. My mom and I stayed one night and Rashid was such an attentive and gracious host to us!! Cannot say enough good about our stay with them. The room was so bright, cheery and relaxing I really did not want to leave! Thank you Rashid!!! It was so easy to book, and arrival and leaving times are better than I have ever seen. I definitely recommend staying here at the Monroe Manor Inn!!

We went for our 2nd anniversary and it was amazing! The host was knowledgeable about the house and so friendly! We loved our stay. The grounds were beautiful and there were two cats outside that were so friendly. Great breakfast too! The location is also great. Close to everything but far from the crowds.

I suggest some repairs to the shower in the beechwood room, better wifi to accommodate the # of guests, and more attention to the landscaping of the property. I didn’t see any other employees on the grounds and I feel like this property manager has a lot on his plate/does most of the work. I highly encourage he hire a grounds crew to help him maintain the land so he has less to do. There are many overgrown plants and some brushes that need to be tended to.

I genuinely appreciate the hospitality of the property manager. He made my stay exceptionally comfortable and did so with a smile on his face. He went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten free diet to the utmost level; example is making me GF waffles. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on the front porch the next morning having breakfast brought out to me. My room was very clean and tidy. The bed was so comfy! I could have slept all day….but coffee started at 7 and breakfast was 8-10; so I needed to get myself up & att’um. You could tell some upgrades had been done to the property while still keeping the historic-ness alive. The property was right across from the venue of the wedding I was attending. Purely a happy accident! Not that parking was an issue, but I was happy to have been able to walk to the wedding and keep my parking spot. Water was at our disposal in the mini fridge in the dining room and tea was always available. The key code entry made me feel very safe and I had my own key to my room. I thought it’d be noisy with a room right off the stairs but I was mistaken. I really enjoyed my stay.

Rashid was wonderful- very accommodating and friendly. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was modern and spacious. The entire place was immaculate, quiet, and it was great to have breakfast on the pretty front porch.
