Napa is my home town and I come back a few times a year to visit my family. The prices of hotels have sky rocketed in the past few years and I am always on the search for something afordable and comfortable. This is the first time I have stayed at the Chablis Inn, and while the location isn't in fancy downtown Napa, it is situated in a very central location with easy access to Starbucks and Round Table right across the street, and a short car ride to a shopping center that contains a Whole Foods, Target, and Trader Joes. As for the hotel room itself, it was just LOVELY. This owners did a complete remodel this past year and they thought of everything to make the room perfect! For those of us who appreciate good lighting and plenty of outlets for our devices, you will not be disappointed. The rooms are large and well lit, with brand new furnishings that are clean and modern. This is now my favorite affordable hotel in Napa and I will return!

It's pretty far from downtown, and there isn't much around the neighborhood for "night life" but there were a lot of stores, etc. so it was a good place to stop before I moved on to the next spot on my adventure. The one thing that seemed like a good idea but was actually not is the auto light under the bed that was motion activated. It's just too bright. I was by myself, but if I'd been there with someone that light would have been really annoying.

The room was clean and comfortable. We got everything we needed for our two nights stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with a car and the guy at the reception helped us to fix the issue. Definitely I can recommend this place for a quick visit in Napa.

Check in was ok - you ring a bell and someone comes from a residential area in the back, and that isn't ideal, but it is happening more often. If it were a B&B, then I'd understand, but it is uncomfortable to feel like you're disturbing someone at home to check into a hotel. But the people here are very, very nice. The second floor balcony/walkway needs some work - it is tilted and seems like it might collapse near the stairs. Some noise from the back.

my only issue was probably that the walls were very thin so i could hear every conversation and movement from the guest upstairs and to the left and right of me. and since parking is also right outside the rooms, you can hear everyone outside. so bring ear plugs and it’ll be fine.

it looked clean and nice from the exterior, inside had all updated furniture and lighting (even an automatic light switch under the bed when you got up), more chairs, drawers and counter space than i expected. there’s also a starbucks at the end of the block that you can walk to which was a plus for me.

Outdated appliances and a microwave that didn't work, but this will surely be fixed. In addition, there were large gaps between the outer door and the floor, something if not quite ideal. Another aspect that Chablis Inn needs to work on a little further is the cleaning itself. The rooms may seem clean and nice, but the floors are very dirty. A little extra effort with the floor cleaning and this will surely be fine. For some reason I had to pay 10 dollars extra, i.e., 10 dollars in addition to the sum I was shown via my booking page. I asked what this amount was for but feel that I did not get a particularly good explanation as to why I had to pay an extra 10 dollars. But anyway, 10 dollars is just 10 dollars and no big deal.

Basically, this is a nice place, with nicely renovated rooms. The rooms appeared very up-to-date and fancy in many areas The staff, at least those we encountered, appeared to be pleasant and accommodating. All in all, my impression is that the Chablis Inn seemed like a well-run place.

There is still some remodeling going on so there is a lot of packaging material lying around. A little pricey for its location. It’s located about 10min from downtown Napa, close to the highway.

I like the location of the Chablis Inn. It is easy to walk to many services, businesses and restaurants. They’ve done a great job updating the rooms and it is very clean.

No closet or a place to hang clothes

Easy access to the freeway and close to the wineries. Honest employees! My friend forgot her wedding ring in her room and I got a call informing me the found it.

Stay was during construction but that was indicated when I booked. You can see they are trying to improve the facilities. There was a group of people that were loud, smoking and hanging out in front of numerous rooms and it was after 10pm when the quiet time was supposed to begin. Although they stopped a little after 11 pm and maybe from notice from the staff, they should have enforced it earlier

There was no rack in the closet area to hang clothes. Overhead lighting wasn't installed yet. Extremely small tv.

The check in was speedy and friendly. The room was nice and newly renovated. Bed was comfortable. Room was very spacious for two people.
