There was a very strong abd unpleasant scent of weed in the room.. coming from the bathroom vent. That was my only issue. The weed smoking 🚬 🚭 was a turn off for me.

The first room given had a cigarette odor and the ceiling tile in the bathroom was black. The second room was cleaner but required a wiping down with cleaning wipes and the blanket was unusable. Good thing I brought my own blanket.

Cigarette burns on the bed spread - thankfully brought my own blankets after seeing reviews so did not use hotel bedding at all. Room was decently clean as well as the bathroom, but the bed was not good.

It was not in a very safe area. The rooms were not good, the ceiling looked like it was going to fall on us, it smelled like moth balls to the point it gave us headaches, the curtains were falling off the windows and it was the cheapest room around but it shows it was awful

The room was dated, bed not too comfortable. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and it was supposed to be a non smoking room.

There was still someone in the original room we were given when we got there, and then the new room we were given smelled strongly of cigarettes.

It was pretty much as expected from a Motel 6 down the shore. Does the job for someone just looking to stay a night or two as a cheap or last minute option.

it’s not well maintained. the rooms need a lot of work. looks like they’ve been patched from water damage several times, and the walls were dirty. sheets were also stained. bathroom light was out during our stay as well.

The pictures of rooms on site, are NOT the rooms they have. If you have an animal, you will have to stay in the rooms shown in the above picture. All but one of those rooms are very small. In the 4 different rooms I stayed in, the furniture is in very poor condition and lamps are rusted and flicker if you barely touch. Air conditioners/heating extremely dirty. I cleaned the filter area in each one. I have no clue how they worked for all the filth in them. Flooring was not placed correctly, with spaces between multiple planks. Walls and doors dirty, floors disgusting. Poor attempts made at patching the walls. Curtains dusty and falling apart. Every sheet, towel and wash cloth had stains and/or were tan/beige when should have been white. The nightstands and other furniture tops were not cleaned. I observed rooms being cleaned, hence why I cleaned mine before bringing in my belongings. All rooms did have microwave and mini fridge, which was fairly clean. I stayed here as long as I did because it was 2 miles from where I came to work. The price was WAY more than it was worth. I have stayed at several Motel 6 over the years, most nice a few not, but nothing this horrible. I wonder if Motel 6 corp has actually seen how bad this place is. Got smart and traveled a little further to get a nice, clean Motel 6.

The flooring was nice. The first room smelled like gas and they gave a new room right away. The people running the place were very nice. It seemed to be pretty clean. Bathroom was small but nice.
