Lovely big room with an amazing view of the harbour outside, despite the cold and the rain. The bathroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I had a nice breakfast the following day too. Recommended to anyone staying locally.

Location was perfect! We were able to park the car and walk all around Newport. Close to shop and restaurants. Great view of the ocean from our room.

Felt it had a cheap feel. No bathroom cups…..I mean I don’t need crystal to brush my teeth but need a glass. No luggage rack to open suitcase. The restaurant did not tell us that the bar/restaurant was closed before we checked in and had invited a friend to the hotel bar. Opps! I could not deliver. Glad I was not trying to impress someone. It was closed so we were given 2 small bottles of cheap wine. My partner does not drink wing.

Beds/pillows extremely lumpy. The rooms could use a little updating although very clean. The attached restaurant could have more items on their menu like they have had in years past.

Location of the motel is in the center of Newport. We walked everywhere. The staff was amazing! So very helpful. The pool was nice for the kids to enjoy.

A very loud and obnoxious group of hockey tournament attendees whose parents encouraged playing hockey in the halls at all hours of the night.

The beds were uncomfortable. The shower nozzle was dirty with some kind of build up. The air vents were covered in dust and debris.

The Hotel is in the perfect location for enjoying Newport. Staff was friendly!

Shower pressure was low and the shower was pointed toward wall I could not move it, this was no big deal. It was minor....

The room was great. It was clean. the thermostat worked. everything was wonderful. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast is a great deal and delicious. I loved the hot cider and fresh water in the lobby. Great job!

Wall between rooms were paper thin - could hear the television next door.

Harbour views were stunning and bed was huge and comfortable - with excellent quality bed linen. The pool was nice as was the harbour shopping area adjacent. The voucher for a free house cocktail (or soft drink) was a nice touch.

The restaurant situation was very confusing. We kept being told that breakfast was buy one get one free and yet it never happened. Our drink tickets were not honored..

Apart of dire need of refurbishing, drab colors, peeling color - not clean, long black hairs all over bathroom, sink and tub also by faucets on both. Pretty disgusting never seen anything like it before at any hotel.

Very dated inside. The room was mediocre compared to the price I paid I expected more. The toilet was very very low…beware. Don’t think I’ll stay here again.

Uncomfortable bed, clearly a matress topper on an older mattress. Small shower and the bathtub dripped all night. Disposable cups in the bathroom would have been nice. We paid for the view and central location but overall it was a bit pricy for a one night stay.

The view from our room was amazing. The breakfast was exceptional and the cocktails were great. Staff was friendly.

The room refrigerator was very small. The air conditioning system did keep the room cool but was very loud and because it is in the floor blows right on you all the time. It also takes up space in a tight room. Hotel should invest in quieter models that mount near the ceiling.

Harbor view was beautiful. The courtyard with outdoor games was perfect for family evenings playing and sitting by the fire. The location was great for walking around Newport.
